The owner of Buddy's place is very passionate about what she does. She really cares about each dog and their owner. She is very knowledgeable and always willing to answer any questions. We are very lucky to have such a wonderful person in our furry baby's life! If you still have doubts, let me put it to you this way. Our puppy is a Husky. Their reputation proceeds them for being mischievous, stubborn, and un-trainable. Well Sarah did the impossible. Our Husky is one of the best dogs out there. She has achieved 2 AKC certifications and she keeps learning. YOU MUST GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will recommend Sarah time and time again. We have been through another local group class with our…read morepup and it was great, but his good behavior in class did not always translate into good behavior at home. Because the majority of Sarah's training services are provided in her home, this has helped the training really stick for our dog. Also, since Sarah has her own dogs at home, she was in the unique position to be able to help observe and correct our pup's inappropriate play while teaching him proper boundaries, which was our main concern when seeking individual training. Regular field trip outings also allowed the chance for him to practice his skills in public, which has been a real confidence booster for him. Originally, I was a bit taken aback by the prices listed on her website, but in the end, it was worth every penny. The one-on-one training she did with him has worked wonders, and we loved the idea of him getting to hang with her and her family (dogs and humans) when he wasn't learning. We plan to continue using Sarah's doggie daycare and boarding services.

Her sitters were coming and going from our house for at least a week with this terrible stench. No one took the bag to the outside trash can. Avoid this company at all costs.

Beth is amazing! She has been a godsend to me. I adopted a standard poodle, Teddy, last year and…read morenot long after it became clear that he had experienced abuse/neglect and because of his history was reactive to other dogs and strangers. The first four months of Teddy's training was ALL about rehabilitation and healing because it wouldn't make any sense if he could sit all pretty but then if something were to happen freak out. Now that he has gotten to a point where the things that use to freak him out are just like "oh yeah...ok..well what do you want me to do?" he has started to get to do all the "normal dog" things like learning tricks and agility. It has been amazing to see him heal and become more confident and trusting. Teddy still has room for improvement but without Beth's guidance and training I know for a fact that Teddy would not be where he is now. In my opinion you will not find a better trainer in this area than Beth. I love DogJoy and could not sing higher praises about it.

Would strongly recommend this. We had such an awful experience. It could have been the trainer that…read morewe were paired with but the trainer that we had - had like 8 other dogs at her house at the time. My dog not only came back not trained. She came back more aggressive and came back with fleas. We've had 3 dogs for over 10 years and never had a flea problem. We never needed to use flea drops or anything. Our new pup came back with so many fleas and now we have an infestation problem. During the time when the trainer had our dog, she also had very poor communication. She told us she would give us daily updates which she did not do. She confused our dogs with other dogs and our dog really came back not learning anything more than she first had started. We pad 2500 for our dog to come back in worse condition. So disappointed.

We are so thankful that we found Karma Dog to look after our Pit Bull puppy, Scotty, after I…read morereturned to work after having the luxury of working from home for the last two years. Scotty is a very intelligent little guy and would often rip up furniture and shoes when he got lonely. We didn't want to leave him at a doggy daycare because we knew he had issues with certain types of other dogs. He would get uncomfortable when he was around other dogs. Our trainer taught us that by waking up first thing every morning and taking Scotty for a long walk, not just a potty break, we were going to set him up for success each day. Along with the counterconditioning and desensitization exercises, we were able to mitigate the symptoms of separation anxiety as well as get him to feel more comfortable around other dogs. Both of our trainers have been extremely patient and so incredibly encouraging when teaching me what I needed to do each day to work towards our goals. One thing you should know is that we initially sent him away for a board and train with another company who correction-based training methods, choke collar, prong collar-it didn't work. He came back worse. We wasted $2,000! What I learned from Karma Dog Training is that Board and Train isn't the right protocol to treat Scotty's separation anxiety. In addition, working with Scotty in his own environment where I normally take him for walks supported his training the type of training we needed to focus on. They explained to me that choosing the right protocol is very important for a favorable to ensue. I really appreciated their honesty because they could've sold me a Board and Train program, having me spend a lot more money. But they were completely honest and truthful the whole entire time.

I've moved from College Station many years now, but I didn't realize I never wrote a review for Dr…read more Bond's clinic. He was our veterinarian for many years. His office may be humble, but you can tell he really enjoys his career choice. He used to give one or two vaccines to me for free, or wouldn't charge if I brought both of my cats in at once. Many clinics are so money hungry, and his hospitality is really rare to find. He also is just a nice guy. He loves animals and is very quick to solve issues. I went to Banfield for over a year for my first cat's ringworm and they continuously charged us for expensive sulfur baths that did not work. We paid in the thousands. Dr. Bond said my cat was a little young for a medicine, but he wanted to try it.. and his ringworm was gone for good in under two weeks. The medicine was $20. I brought my other cat in who ran away from home and broke his leg. When the shelter picked him up, the techs there told me that he would need an amputation and to expect about $3k for the cost. I checked other clinics for an estimate and they agreed with the ballpark. Dr. Bond spent about 1 minute with my cat before telling me he was not in pain, and that the leg could stay. He also said if I needed to amputate, it would cost $300-500. He explained that my cat's muscle may atrophy, but if he was walking on it, he saw no reason to take his leg. My cat is the happiest four legged boy now. The most he has wrong is a tiny bit of arthritis, but he runs fast on his broken leg, which is just a tiny bit crooked. He's never had a single issue with it since. He saved both my pets from unnecessary trauma, and me from spending nonstop money on issues that were easily treatable by a true professional. His heart is with his patients, and I can't recommend him enough. We wish we could find a vet like this in Nevada.
