I am a happy person who rarely gets sick…read more But after of months of illness after illness, my doctors, neurologist, allergist and friend, all suggested maybe it's time to talk someone. They all thought it was stress. I think that everyone has their cross to bear in life and that stress is a normal part of it. I didn't see the value in talking about my issues. I'll just stay busy. Keep my mind occupied and not think of it. Why is my problems any more important than anyone else's? They're not but they were poisoning my body and regular medicine wasn't helping me. This drawn out process of talk therapy is totally against my nature. I like immediate solutions. But I have to admit it is nice to speak freely without judgement. To hear honest suggestions, sometimes hard truths. I walked out of my session with a little lighter load. I hope if you come across this review and were in the same skeptical boat I was, that you'll be kind to yourself and give it a try.

As weird as this might sound, I've talked with friends about how breaking things just makes me feel so much better if I'm having a rough day so finding a place where I can SAFELY do so AND not be judged for it?! It's amazing! This is one of three other similar-concept places in the Houston area but this one has more bang for your buck (no pun intended ). We spent $40 each to destroy a room full of stuff for 20 minutes. They provide face shields, goggles and hard hats and charge $3 for the suit if you want extra protection. I knew I was about to tear this place up so we purchased the suit and took them home to bring back for next time. You can hook up your phone to Bluetooth speakers so you can blast your angry music while smashing the room to pieces. They let you take in as many "weapons" of your choice and you should DEFINITELY grab that sledgehammer. The staff members were so nice, friendly and helpful!! We appreciated this experience tremendously and will definitely be back.
