Food was fantastic, service was friendly and helpful. I will eat there again, I saw many yummy items being delivered to other tables I would like to try.

Tasty Korean food in Hope. We stopped by for lunch on our way home and it wasn't busy at first and then more people started to fill the place. A tour bus actually showed up with a large group, so it was bustling inside. Luckily we got our order in before everyone else arrived. Mandy soup- It was warm and comforting. It has egg, dumplings, and beef. I wish it had rice cakes in it to make it a bit more filling, but it did come with a side of rice. Seafood pancake- pretty good. It was crisp and had some peppers and seafood in it. I wish it had a bit more seafood in it though. Banchan- bean sprouts, kimchi, and pickled radish. All of them were great and made in house. We both enjoyed the kimchi because it was well balanced and wasn't just spicy. Overall, it was a pretty good meal. Prices are in line with other Korean restaurants. Staff were friendly and attentive. If I'm ever in the area, is happily come back.

I went to the Korean Kitchen for dinner with friends and family. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and had the opportunity to try some of their appetizers such as the pork Gyoza and tempura. For my entrée, I ordered the Tofu Avocado Korean Rice Bowl. Everything tasted great with the teriyaki sauce bring everything together. The ingredients were very fresh including the sliced avocado, and I really liked the deep-fried tofu. I was disappointed though to find out that they no longer serve sushi, as the sign points out in front of their restaurant. The service was admirable, and the interior look of the restaurant was good to say the least. I do recommend the Korean Kitchen for Asian cuisine alternative and would like to pay my patronage there again.

The beef bulgogi is the best I've ever tasted. We will be stopping for a meal whenever we're driving through Hope.

This was…read morea charming little spot for lunch that definitely exceeded my expectations given its location in middle of nowhere BC. The bulgogi was flavorful, and balanced with vegetable in addition to meat. My husband ordered the dolsot bibimbap which was delicious as well. Only complaint is that the kimchi was a little underfermented (not sour enough for my liking). Also appreciated that the meal comes with barley tea, which is just what I needed on a rainy day. Disclaimer: The walls also show that if you give a 5-star review on Google, you get a free spring roll. I'm sorry, bribing your customers with free food does not seem right to me, so while I'd normally be more on the fence about whether my 4.5 star experience should be rounded up to 5, this bit of dishonesty makes me feel compelled to bring it down to 4.

The squid came out first and it was exactly as advertised. It was very tender and flavourful. The bibimbap came out next and came with all the fixings. It was very good and the left a clean bowl. Definitely will return, I'm very happy to have found a place in Chilliwack that serves Korean food that isn't just fried chicken.

Everything tasted the way Korean food should taste. The flavors were balanced and authentic--not overly sweet like so many places tend to do. The kimchi was hands down some of the best I've had in a long time--perfectly ripened with incredible depth of flavor. We ordered the soft tofu soup, rice cake soup, and spicy pork, and every dish was excellent. Comforting, flavorful, and clearly made with care. On top of the food, the service was wonderful. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Please support this lovely restaurant in Bellingham. It's the kind of place you hope stays around for a long time. Five stars all the way!! I forgot to take picture but I'll be back soon to take some.

Truthfully I ordered entirely too much food for a single person...I couldn't say no based in the description and picture in the menu...I honestly could have ordered everything. I ordered: Shrimp Tempura: appropriately crunchy Beef Bulgogi: Classic taste, exactly what I wanted for dinner Crazy Boy Kimchi: had a good spice but not overwhelming while the vegetables were not chewy-loved it! Deep fried Oreo cookies: I don't usually see this sort of dessert anywhere let alone at a Korean restaurant...had to give this a try...let me say that the cookie softened to the point where it was more like a chocolate goo while the tempura part was not as crispy as I expected. It was worth a try but not my favorite. Overall, YunGaNe has everything anyone wanting Korean cuisine could offer. I stuck with my comfort favorites and was more than satisfied. Everything about the atmosphere was lovely including the service.
