The staff member who answered the phone at 8:30 AM was terrible. He spoke to me in a sleepy voice. When I canceled my daughter's 10:30 AM appointment today for some reason, he said that I had to cancel more than 24 hours in advance to avoid being considered a no-show. I explained that I had only made the appointment yesterday afternoon. It hadn't been 24 hours since I made the appointment, and I had canceled as early as possible--so how could I cancel more than 24 hours in advance? But he insisted that I needed to cancel 24 hours in advance. Should I have canceled before I even made the appointment? How stupid. I had a terrible experience with this clinic a few years ago when I took my mother there for a routine checkup. The very young Asian doctor didn't even know how to take my mother's blood pressure and struggled with it for over an hour. Since then, I've chosen a different clinic for my mother. This time, I made an appointment with my daughter's pediatrician, as she had just moved to this clinic around June. She's been a good doctor for many years, so I decided to follow her. This is the worst place. it took us a month finally to see doctor here, then the appointment went well, then she forgot to give permission to our cvs to refill my mom high blood pressure medication. I called on friday they said doctor left and it is weekend so doctor willl come in on monday and take care of it. I called at 9:30am on monday, wait forever to finally speak to somebody and they said will let doctor know. by 3pm i called again and they said they sent message with URGENT and doctor havent responded. and till now my mom still doesnt have her medicine. so dont come to this place because how come doctor forget to give you the most important medication and you will have a really HARD time to reach out to ask somebody help you. read more

I came here yesterday for my checkup. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Dr. Hanna greeted me warmly and asked thoughtful questions. Ms. Katherine and Gloria helped me with my questions about the forms and clearly explained my payment. They also scheduled my follow-up appointment based on my availability. If I can give this clinic 0 star I would and do not know why them clerks who work at the front are not fired yet since so many complaints on their attitude? They were rude and unprofessional. They kept asking unnecessary questions with bad attitude and after I asked to talk to someone else they said "I CAN WALK-IN ANYTIME but they do not have any availability for appointment in the next 4months." I said okay I'll wait but it needs to be on the weekdays and she replied "NO, she only has that day and I gotta be there on a specific time she gave me." My kids have been going to this clinic for pediatric for 3 years now. I have not had any problem with the front desk. They do what they are suppose to do for you. The clinic staff are all nice and accommodating. The two doctors, Dr. Murthy and Dr. Krenek, are wonderful doctors. They are young, caring, patient, cheerful, and have great bedside manners. We moved out of the area but will still drive 30min to go there. Now don't expect this place to be a new, fancy, modern clinic. It is in the Chinatown area, so it's perfect for the area. I don't care about the area or how the office looks like, I care about the quality of care my 3 kids receive here. We've been to other doctor offices that look really nice and fancy but did not get the same service and care. I will follow these two doctors wherever they go in the Houston and surrounding area. read more

Highly impressed!!! I couldn't make it to my Ob so I thought I'd give it a try here.. The system was down when I arrived, but they all were still so nice and professional about it.. I didn't wait very long , my appt was at 10 and I probably waited 30 mins after.. It was clean, organized and wow I have never seen so many Different nationalities all in one place.. That was nice!! Have been sick for over a week, persistent couch would not go away, fever and then chest pain last night. Today, I walked in at 9 a.m. with no appointment. Brought my Id to get verified. I filled out lots of paperwork . They told me no guarantee that I would be seen today because they go by appointment unless someone cancels. A few hours later they go over my paperwork and said I might get in today but no guarantee. I waited and they called me over to pay. Then a few minutes later I saw the nurse then the doctor. He told me I have Bronchitis. I lost four pounds since I got sick. He told me to gargle with warm water and salt to relieve sore throat. Doctor was nice and told me hope you get better soon. All the staff were very helpful, nice and speak different languages. Even if they don't know the language, they will call someone on the phone who does know. read more

I will not be returning to this Hope Clinic again, the service is terrible and the waiting time passed is nothing. They didn't let you sit inside the clinic, they told you to get in my car and wait for them to call, (I tried really hard to toll them I got the negative Covid results) I waited an hour and the Doctor called me it was too late to get strep test... Dr. Michael Espino told me to come back at 11am tomorrow, I came the next day when I was at the front desk they asked why I came here, I talked a lot when I was sick and lost my voice... they says sorry and said i need to be back at 1pm to take the test and go home to wait, but I wait 2 more weeks still nothing, I called many times to get the results but no one answered the phone, I left the message but still no one called back. If I could give this place a negative score, I would. I don't recommend this place at all! Doctors and nurses in the adult section are extremely lazy and rude. I don't understand how Hope Clinic have several locations when their reputation is this shitty. They treat their customers like shit. They only care for the money. I went to go in and saw the doctor, did some blood tests, got a mammogram done but I wasnt notified of any results. I had to go in and chase them down for results after two month's worth of time without hearing back. The nurses always "seem busy", yet I don't see the efficiency of their performance. One nurse even tried to cover up and lie, saying that they had just got the results in when I asked for the results, but I know that it shouldn;t have taken that long, and they just failed to communicate to me. And he even told me to come back again to see the doctor after the fact that I had seen one and results of the tests were in, yet they wouldn't get me any medications without coming back to see the doctor "again". More money for them.... I know the names of a few nurses around there and these are quite rude, but they aren't the only ones. (Mr. Luu, Hilda Martinez, Le Anh, and Ho Van to name a few). Hope Clinic should be shut down of operations for this kind of service that they offer to the public. So stay clear of this place! read more

The front desk clerks have poor customer service. I have stopped going there because I don't get early appointment. They say walk- in is welcome, but you are not sure you can see a doctor. So I stopped going there. Although the doctors are nice, the front office clerks have no sense of patient service. Hope Clinic charged my insurance company over $1000 for an annual check up. They did some blood, urine and stool tests and a 15 minute visit with the doctor. So if you don't want to be ripped, try elsewhere. read more

My baby is just 3 month. Today she was diarrhea. I bring baby to hope licnic. A Mexican nurse weigh the baby, look on the ear after that move her to other room, a Indian women in, she did the same . I told them that my baby got diarrhea, they asked me" do I bring baby pole together. So funny myself. After that she look on the baby ear and said, I'm done. She did nothing. When we come back home, my baby got many time of diarrhea. I wished of the morning come quick to take my baby to hospital. I think today many Doctor don't have ability to work, but they still work.
