Been going here for years. Friendly workers, decent buys, and a good place to donate unwanted items.

This store is listed as Arc Thrift Store on Yelp and Google Maps. The managers informed me that was…read moreits former name over EIGHT years ago. So, I told them I would list it correctly online. This thrift store is a gold mine with phenomenal prices. I would say this is the BEST thrift store in Clarksville with the most excellent customer service! Presently, they have a 50% off linen sale. Lots of beautiful hand crocheted blankets. Ladies clothes (excluding formal clothes) are $5 a bag full. Clothing is $1 a piece unless specially priced. I bought: - a giant box of brand new crayons for 75 cents - two cool graphic tees - expensive stationary 50 cents With the assistance of Progressive Directions, Inc., the Thrift Store supports individuals with special needs and their families. The PDI Thrift Store also partners with Supported Employment and the State of Tennessee to make opportunities for those with disabilities to have paid positions. Overall, the PDI Thrift Store provides more jobs, additional funding for the Clarksville community and offers low cost items to all. - Source: http://www.progressivedirections.com/thrift-store/

I go in looking for coats for the homeless and there were used coats there marked at 25$. I'll stick to Salvation Army for those purchases. I'll be back though bc now I know.

After first moving to Nashville, I was seriously disappointed with the thrift store options around…read morehere. Goodwill being one of the worst I've seen (they pre pick and filter through donations and sell the best online so you're left with sloppy seconds in the store, this goes for any Goodwill). Also, I'm not a vintage shopping kind of gal, which seems to be most popular around here. It's just not the kind of apparel I wear on the regular, but if I were to shop vintage I rather score a find for a fraction of the price at a thrift store. Ok enough about my particularities, but given all that, when I walked into Southern Thrift, I knew that THIS was my place. First, the selection is huge, it's not some small boutique thrift store. Secondly, everything is nicely organized by size and apparel type, and on a Saturday the store was pretty neat, well kept, and not crowded to my surprise. They price every item individually, rather than a flat rate for all shirts, or all pants which you normally see. I bought a super casual t-shirt for $1.99 and something a little fancier for $5.99. Makes sense, as there are variations in brands, quality, and style that should be taken into account when pricing. I'm anxious to check out their other two locations (2710 Old Lebanon Rd & 5010 Charlotte Pike) in Nashville. Between all of the locations, this should take care of my thrifting binges!

Prices are horribly high I think they priced stuff so high…read moreso that one is the 50% off day they can charge a regular price Very messy also
