As a woman with very short hair, finding a barber who knows how to cut women's hair can be tough…read more I'm so happy I discovered Urban Fellow and the barber, Christian. I came in today after usually cutting my own hair, and I'm thrilled to have finally found a professional who gave me a cut I truly love. Walking into such a clean and welcoming shop was already a great start. Christian gave me a style I've never had before. I came in with an idea, but after he examined my scalp, he made a suggestion that turned out even better than what I had in mind. He gave me a very low cut with a super cute line design on the side--and I'm obsessed! Not only is he talented, but he's also great to talk to. We had such a good conversation, and he even explained why trimming the top was a good move because of a small dent I hadn't even noticed. The result? I love my cut even more. I immediately booked my next appointment in two weeks--he's definitely my new barber. The shop is super cute, spotless, and everyone there is so friendly. I highly recommend Urban Fellow for both men and women!

Our first visit we had an appointment and they ignored us for 20 minutes past our appointment time. We almost walked out when they finally called us. One of the barbers was loud and crass and was so obnoxious, we could hardly wait to get out of there. The haircut was somewhat decent however, and a good price. We decided to give them a second shot a few weeks later, and once again made an appointment with Ernest. This time, they went over 30 minutes past our appointment time before they even acknowledged us. Not only that, but he did such a poor job this time, my hubby was left with razor burns on most of his hair perimeter even days later. Location is convenient right off a main street, parking is plentiful and pricing is decent. That said, with the unprofessional lack of customer attentiveness, disregard for keeping appointments and shoddy shave work, we will definitely not be returning.

Luckily went in there were 4 barbers, 4 open chairs..they must do a round robin for the next clip. Another reason I dont like barbershops is when you get an interview from the barber as to who you are and what you do. Dude just concentrated on the cut, and one of the better ones I've had since my barber retired. In this case, it was just cool to hear the banter between the 4 youngish barbers, my barber was in the military and did a great job on the overgrown mess I walked in with. The area needed a good barbershop for a long time, this is it. Sorry, I don't give 5 stars unless I'm somehow amazed, but would recommend.
