It has that cool little dive-bar feel, but it was quiet and relaxed, which was nice with a street festival going on outside. The staff was great, and our server was really attentive. The manager was also exceptional and stopped by our table to check on us. We even had a little accident where my son knocked my wife's food onto the floor, and they ended up not charging us for the replacement fish sandwich. That definitely says a lot about the team. As for the food, the red beans and rice were hearty and not too spicy, the calamari was nice and crunchy, and my fish and chips were really good. My wife loved her fish sandwich, and my son gave his burger a thumbs up, especially the toasted, puffy bun. My youngest approved of the French fries, so I guess that counts too! Overall, great food, great service, and a really cool, laid-back atmosphere. Definitely recommend stopping in if you're in the area and looking for some tasty grub. Oh and one more thing, my wife REALLY liked her coconut mocktail.

Next up were the chargrilled oysters they were tasty with good flavor, although I personally like mine a little more charred. They didn't come with bread, so I had to improvise with crackers and of course I had to add my hot sauce! I also ordered a side of fries and honestly they were one of the highlights for me super crispy, well seasoned, and fresh! Overall, I'd give it a 3/5 stars . Good vibes, decent food, and I'd probably come back to try a few more things on the menu.

I hate leaving reviews like this, but this experience needs management's attention…read more When I visited this location during a family reunion in Houston, the men's restroom had an overwhelming odor of urine. There appeared to be bodily fluids on the restroom floors and on top of the stalls, extending toward the sink area. One of the urinals had a paper towel placed over it with what appeared to be bodily fluids present. The restroom needed immediate attention. While those sanitation issues were occurring, I observed someone watching a UFC fight on a cell phone that had been propped up on one of the restaurant's decorative areas. Whether it was during work or not, it gave the impression that sanitation was not being treated as a priority. I informed a server about the restroom conditions and asked if someone could address them. I was told not to have an attitude by my server (while explaining to him the plate). That response was disappointing, especially after raising what I believed were legitimate health and sanitation concerns. My partner also told me she saw creamers dropped onto the floor and then placed back into the serving container instead of being discarded. She also informed me that the women's restroom had bodily fluids on the toilets. To make matters worse, the plate my food was served on had dried food residue around the top, rim, and on the underside, which I photographed. Clean dishes are one of the most basic expectations when dining out. I hope management takes these concerns seriously. Restaurants are responsible for maintaining clean restrooms, properly sanitized dishware, and food-safe practices. Those standards protect both customers and employees. Unfortunately, this visit did not reflect those expectations.

Everyone is usually friendly... I order online without any issues The parmesan crusted items are so good. I noticed they now have parmesan crusted fries, but I stuck with my original order and stayed on the healthier side with the grilled salmon even though I really wanted those fries. Everything is seasoned really well and I love that they use fresh vegetables. I noticed that they have green beans. They didn't have them to order. so I'll definitely be back to try those. My personal favorite is ordering the wings extra crispy and adding the Parmesan crust. I never imagined wings would taste like this at Longhorn. I've been going to Outback for years and recently discovered Longhorn, and I won't be going back to Outback after this. Sorry kukaboro wings lol

I also got mashed potatoes and broccoli for the sides. Every single bite in this meal was very delicious, cooked just right, very juicy and tender. The meat was really well-seasoned and you could taste some cumin notes in it. The beefiness and fat were ideal and the profile wasn't too lean or too fatty. It was a little firm, yet, easy to cut. The mashed potatoes were really tasty and buttery with enough salt in them. The broccoli was so thoroughly cooked and moist without being greasy. Each piece was almost melt in mouth tender. The service from my server was very welcoming, friendly, attentive and efficient. The last time I got a takeout of the exact same as Sunday night, but requested the 7-Spice seasoning added to the steak since the actual 7-Spice Strip is no longer available. It didn't have the brown butter they cook with it along with mine being 12 oz as opposed to that special which was also 14 oz from what I heard. It was top notch with a lot of peppery, aromatic taste and a sandy crust on top to contrast the middle. Both sides were top notch like last night and both perfect medium rare inside too. I was quite surprised in a very positive way how Longhorn could easily compete with higher end steakhouses and be better than some good ones for sure too.

Bottom line, plenty of spaces. Side note, they're not all spaced the way you might expect. Walking in, the place was hopping. Much more crowded than the former business. Pretty good sized menu. They serve you the red salsa, but you can ask for the green. The kind that gives you heart burn for hours. Worth it. Both salsa were great, chips were fresh. We ordered house margaritas, and those were also very good. Pricing was average. For food we ordered the parrillada El Malecon. Mixed beef and chicken, with ribs and quail. Here's where things went a little rough. We ordered the "for two" but the entire was still in a " for one" portion. 3 pieces of steak, 3 chicken, one quail 2 rib portions. Definitely seemed off. The manager came by, and we discussed. On THEIR menu, the double portion is only 4 strips of steak, 4 of chicken, still only one quail, and two rib portions. The reasoning we were given is that people don't seem to like the quail. First, nothing about this is "for two." For 45.99 this isn't it. The chicken and beef were good, the quail was not seasoned well unfortunately, and the ribs were over sauced with a cheap syrupy sauce. Overall food was a no. But here's where I also have to give credit. They stuck with their defense, and while we discussed someone brought a plate of chicken and beef. While we weren't going to ask for anything, we do appreciate their thoughtfulness and speedy resolution. Maybe they knew it was coming , or maybe they just jumped ahead to make it work. Either way, we appreciated that effort. Overall, service was great, food was 50/50. Wouldn't do the parrilladas again, but would try other menu items.

My husband had the chicken sandwich and I had the chicken tenders. I picked two sauces and didn't realize they were dipping sauces rather than sauce for the tenders to be tossed in. He was really nice in letting me know that I needed to request for the sauced to be tossed rather than a dip. He also gave me additional sauces that I inquired about and we were on our way. I really appreciate the customer service with the cashier and the manager!! The chicken was soooo much better than Raising Canes. This chicken was actually seasoned well and flavorful without the sauce. We will definitely be returning!!

I get the feeling that this is one of the better work environments based on their attitudes toward customers and each other. I tried the classic meal: 4 chicken fingers, 2 pieces of Texas toast, and fries. Ehh... beautiful presentation, less-than-stellar taste. I get what they're trying to do with the light breading, marinade, and (parmesan?) cheese, but it made the chicken's texture too soft and messy. It also tasted far saltier than it needed to be. The entire meal, especially the fries, has been doused in grease which left puddles in the box. With how slippery all the food was, I had very little motivation to use the garlic parmesan sauce; even when I gave it a try, it only added to the excessively salty experience. $10.59+tax for a 4-finger combo though? Pretty reasonable. The fingers are a little small, but I wouldn't have minded it if they actually tasted better. Maybe I just prefer my chicken on the drier and less salty side.
