Wow, I am shocked to see all the negative reviews for this location. My coworkers and I come at least twice a month for lunch and we always have a great experience. The food always comes out piping hot, fresh, and always hits the spot. The staff we've had is extremely friendly, and we always see the manager Ejay walking around asking people how their food is. I'm not going to dock any stars because I know this comes from corporate, but we really wish you would bring your lunch specials and your sliders back. We asked for the wings to be fried extra hard as indicated. We also ordered medium sauce. There were no sauce on the wings and they were dry and naked. Fortunately, we happen to be home, and to use your competitors sauce to toss wings where you all failed to do so. Extremely disappointing. Curly fries were pale, cold, and tasteless. I was here with a small group (5 adults, 3 kids under 8 and 1 12 years old. We came here to watch football. It was busy but not "packed." The service was atrocious..... It took about 15 minutes to get our first drinks. Realizing that the service was going to be sub-par, we ordered a tabletop of beer. After 40 minutes, I demanded to understand what the hold up was. First we were told that we couldn't have the table topper because we each had a beer. Our beers had been empty for at least 20 minutes and the only reason we ordered the table topper was because of the poor service. I demanded an explanation from a manager which never came. We asked for refills of tea no less than three times before we finally got what we asked for. After 60+ minutes we finallly received our table topper. Our food came minutes later.....well, everyone except for my meal. The rest of my party was nearly done with their meal when mine finally showed up. We were charged for extra dry rub (which was never brought to us.) The wings I ordered were good for sure but the service is something that will be tough to overcome. I have never in my life left a restaurant more displeased with the quality of food that I received. I went into the restaurant with having eaten nothing all day. I was so hungry that I could eat literal garbage and that is exactly what I was served. Once we sat down we were greated and brought drinks and had our order take. It took an unusually long time for the food to come out as you would expect with them cooking it right? WRONG!! I had ordered half medium and half garlic Parmesan as well as my fiancée ordering half mild with half bbq. A couple things to note: both of our mild and medium buffalo wings were COMPLETELY devoid of any kind of sauce. I am talking completely dry. The little sauce that was on the mild wings tasted oily and tasted like movie theater popcorn butter not as advertised. Out of the 20 total wings that were ordered between the two of us 18 were cold and rubbery with a total of two being luke warm. To finish I have never over paid (yes it was 35 dollars for this slop) to be disgusted by my meal. Unfortunately, we were both so hungry that we did eat as much as we could stomach and are now already paying for that on the toilet not even and hour after finishing our meal. I have been to other hooters and loved the food but here I felt disgusted, ripped off, disappointed, and like they just threw the someone's left overs in a microwave for 20 minutes and served it to us. So happy we stopped here for late night dinner and drinks! It was after 11 on a Tuesday and there isn't a lot to choose from. We weren't sure if the kitchen would still be open or if we would be putting the staff out coming in as they were trying to get out. We were warmly welcomed by Marta, who asked us if we wanted table or bar. We chose the bar and grabbed a couple stools. We were immediately welcomed by the sweetest bartender, Shayla. Not only was she as personable as she is easy on the eye, but she made us feel very welcome at such a late hour and assured us they were open till 12 and no worries about the time. She had our drinks out for us quick and the food came right behind them. We asked her about the sauces because we wanted some heat and she suggested the 3 mile island, and warned us about the ghost pepper, their hottest sauce. Eating a lot of spicy food I agree the ghost pepper is really hot and you should avoid it if not used to the heat. I actually liked the flavor of the three mile better so that's what I stuck with. Shayla kept checking on us. Our drinks were always full, and she made sure we liked our food and drinks. She took really good care of us and made us feel welcome too. She was so nice we asked to speak to a manager to give them the good feedback. I'm truly surprised by the negative reviews. I felt more welcome and at home here then I do 1000 miles away at my local Hooters and will stop back again before we head out of town. We stopped here while on vacation in Orlando. Place was clean, waitress Melissa was great. Our food came out fast and everything was fresh and hot. The only disappointing thing was they said the 911 sauce was discontinued. I hope all Hooters haven't done away with this sauce. 911 sauce has been my favorite sauce since we started coming to Hooters all over the United States for years. The Three Mile Island sauce is an ok substitute but I still like 911 better. That's my rant about the sauces. This restaurant was great in every other way. Welp, I hate to leave a negative review but at the same time, be warned. I should have looked at Yelp before we even entered and there was a 2.5 start review. It wasn't crowded. We were seated immediately. It took 50, yes 50 minutes to get our drinks. Just 2 beers and 2 simple drinks. Ouch! Then another 30 or so to get lukewarm food. Yikes. I seriously don't know how they're doing it. There was no issue with being short staffed that was mentioned. There was no acknowledgement of an issue. Other tables were having the same issue. I'm not sure what is going on with Hooters. Oh, I ordered a Brekenridge Avalanche, top of the beer list on draft. The waitress needed me to say it several times because she couldn't pronounce it. What a disappointing dinner. I DoorDash Hooters because they are open late and fairly close by. I ordered 10 naked wings with two different sauces and I'm very annoyed they put them in the same container all mixed. I couldn't even tell what flavor was what. One was suppose to be spicy and other garlic. But also each wing was SO small. For the price, this was a rip off! They also gave me one small lousy ranch when I asked for multiple. The sliders were so cold and dry I felt that they have been sitting out. I swear the fries weren't even cooked. They too were extremely cold. Interestingly, being so close to the tourist district, it wasn't crazy busy on a Football Sunday. We got in easily, got taken directly to a table and they offered to swap some of the TVs to a game we were looking to watch. We always start our time at Hooters with Fried Pickles. If you're looking for an appetizer, I thoroughly enjoy this one..and the pretzels with the beer cheese. Both are great - the pickles are my ultimate favorite and they come with a perfect dipping sauce. For the main meal, my go to is the boneless daytona beach wings.
