I've never been to Hooters, I went with my boyfriend while on vacation. Food was pretty good. Service was great, a ton better than some of the service on the Harbor Walk! Our waitress was Taylor, who was excellent! Very clean place. Great casual restaurant! read more

VERY RUDE BARTENDER!! SHE NEEDS CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING!!!!! Went in and was greeted by a very nice waitress and was seated took our drink orders and got them quickly. After two my absolute tonic tasted like it had tequila in it. Told our waitress and she got another one and it was fine. Being seated directly across the bar we could see the bartender get defensive and was like no way and was getting an attitude. After she brought the right one it was good. Then I ordered my last one and again it tasted like tequila. I brought it to her attention again and the bartender refused to fix it and they brought it back saying it's because you have a lime in it. "she knew she made it with absolute and not tequila." The drink smelt like tequila. After we saw what she did by measuring the liquor with the same jigger it was brought to her attention and she had a very poor attitude and so we ordered another without a lime. So the bartender thought she was going to have to last laugh by not hardly any pouring any vodka in it and all tonic. After seeing this we asked for our checks and let our waitress know that we can see and hear everything the bartender was saying. Our waitress was very great but the bartender had a very poor attitude and customer service training might be a recommendation for her and also sanitary training wouldn't hurt as well. I wasn't after a free drink because we paid for every drink she made correctly or incorrectly. I simply wanted my drink to taste like it should and I would know because all I ever drink is absolute or Tito's and tonic. So when I can smell the tequila from my glass I know something isn't right. Again customer service training would be a strong suggestion for that bartender. This happen tonight 2/26/19 at the destin location. Needless to say read more

Well, here's my honest review. We got there, seated accordingly. Waited about 10 minutes for a waitress. She got our drinks(sweet tea). And this tea was completely unsweetened, and tasted a day old, or was badly burned. Waitress comes back with more sweet tea, sweeter but still the taste wasn't good. She got our order, I ordered wings, fiancé ordered shrimp tacos, no pico de gallo, special sauce on the on the side. And an appetizer of the fiesta quesadilla. Waited 45 minutes for the appetizer, and waited another 45 on the food. Wings were room temp, and fiancés tacos had pico AND special sauce smothered in it. By this time we were starving, so he just forked the stuff on the side and eats the shrimp, cheese and lettuce. We received a discount for the mistake, but it didn't really compensate for the whole experience of eating there. I just feel like customers should be better taken care of when paying to dine at a restaurant. read more

No one expects Hooters to be Michelin rated... But this one is ridiculous.... It is the worst of the worst. Literally waited over an hour for drinks... And they are not at all busy. Wait staff is cold and uncaring- and NOT pretty enough to be as self righteous and arrogant as they act... Definitely not normal "Hooters@ standard. I'd advise that you RUN - not walk- RUN away from this place. Save your money, your time and your dignity. read more

Since this Hooters opened, my wife and I have driven from Nashville, eaten our dinner at Hooters and parked our 20 foot camper in the back, waiting for Henderson State Park to open the next morning. Last week, after dinner, we were awaken at 1:00am, by a very rude man stating we have to move. I nicely described our normal proceedure and again was told to move. So we got up and moved 50 feet to the Walmart next door. When I called the corporate office to complain, I was told that I might be a drug dealer and the rude manager did right. I also noticed alot of other Hooters around Florida have closed and see the same for the Destin Hooters. I also noticed over that week, as we passed Hooters for other resturants, only a few cars in the parking lot at any given time of the evening. I look forward to see if the replacement resturant will treat paying customers better. Perhaps the managment should take lessons from Cracker Barrell on how to be nice to paying customers. read more

I hate to give this place two stars. My family and I visit Hooters often. We like the food and service which is usually spot on. This Hooters location is the exception. Sat at the bat on a Sat afternoon to watch some football and enjoy a beer and wings. The bartenders were terrible. I had a menu in front of me and neither of them asked if I wanted to order food until one of them said "are you gonna order food or what?" I thought about leaving and then decided to stay. I had to flag one of them down to order. They were both pretty aloof and seemed to be more interested in a couple of regulars than running the bar. I asked if I could get more than one sauce for my wings and the bartender looked at me as if that was the first time she had ever heard a request like that. A "no problem" and a smile would have been nice. These girls don't smile at all. The manager was there and able to observe the whole bar scene. I would have fired him if I owned this franchise for allowing that level of customer service at a Hooters. read more

Went in to watch a baseball game in the patio area on a slow Monday night. I ask my waiters Samantha to change 1 of the 7 TV to the game and then placed my order. 20min later no changes and haven't received my Big Daddy Beer yet. So I went inside to watch the game and Samantha told me she ask the manager multi time to change the game I requested.DJ (manager) replied he'll get to it sometime. As I sat at the inside bar for 2hrs watching the game and enjoying the Dayton wings, I notice the manager DJ hanging around the hard working waitress and was joking with them the whole time I was there.if this is how Hooters managers operate in customer services then its time to find another sports bar. My bartender Clarissa had accommodated me, however had drama issues with other employees and expressed them to DJ in front of other paterons. As long as I went to the restroom, the floor was wet and paper towles everywhere. I'm calling out the General manager Bob Skonecke to really look into retraining all his employees. Hats off to the cooks for putting the perfect carmalization on my grilled Dayton wings thou. As I left, I did exit through the patio and notice the TV still not chaged to my requested ballgame. I also noticed 3 of the 7 TVs on wasn't showing a sports related program . SMH.. shame on you DJ and to your staff. read more

my wife and I like to eat at Hooters. we are are from MO and have eaten there in Kansas city, Columbia, and St. Louis. The service is always great and so is the food. Destin's Hooters was the worst restaurant experience we have ever had. It was Sunday night before Labor Day. We expected a wait due to the holiday weekend. When we arrived the young girl at the front told us it would be 45min to get a seat (this was 7pm.). while waiting we noticed 5 tables that were empty and just needed to be cleaned off. a few minutes work right? When we left at almost 10pm these same tables were still not cleaned off and people were still waiting to be seated. No manager was ever on site. The kitchen staff was moving so slow it was unbeleavable. And the waitresses were hardly visible either. It took over an hour to seat us....another 40min to take our order, and 30min more to receive our food. The food quality was okay...not great. People were still waiting to be seated and there were empty but dirty tables everywhere. potential customers were leaving like crazy. I forgot to mention when we did finally get seated we were put at a table that had not been wiped down. When we left we warned everyone outside to go some where else. We were one of 3 groups leaving at this time and the only group which had waited long enough to eat at this half filled restaurant that would not seat it's customers. read more
