So, yelp is kind of becoming sort of a digital remembrance of all the services I've utilized in emergency or "nigh-emergency" situations. I'll open this one with me simply stating that I have terrible luck with keys. Absolutely the worst luck with keys. This time around, my keys were stolen from a friend's glove box. Ironically, I had kept them there for safe-keeping since I was traveling out of state and did not require them. Well, lo and behold, my car keys, house keys, mail key etc were all taken. Happy birthday to me. I called Johnny to make me a set of car keys as I literally had no way of getting into my automobile. He asked my address and explained that he was on his way and arrived within 10 minutes. Not only was he quick and professional with making me a lockout key and a new ignition key, he was also a very amiable and funny gentleman (he had a personality). Conversing with him lightheartedly as he created my keys actually somehow made the situation a little more easy for me to deal with, as I was already pretty livid over the key issue. Good things! I would definitely recommend Johnny for any and all lockout situations that unfortunately happen to all of us from time to time. read more

Ugh! People Beware!!!! Think twice before calling this one. This service was very unprofessional. He quoted me $169 to give me a replacement ignition key. This guy came (Friday) and attempted to make a key that did not work, so he said that he would be back in an hour. This guy came back 3 days later. When he showed up on Monday, he did not ring the door bell to speak with us to get permission to finish working on our vehicle. He just helped himself and started working without telling us. My husband just happened to going out the front door (his work vehicle is in the back of house) and he was there in our vehicle, my husband confronted him about his communication and professionalism and not letting us know that he was there. And he proceeded to ask my husband for a tool. Can you imagine that!. My husband stated to him that he didn't have that tool in his inventory, so he left again saying he would return in an hour. He never did. We found out why when we called another locksmith, come to find out he did damages to the ignition switch and more that's going to cost us $800.00 to fix. He used a drill and other inappropriate tools to try to take screws and ignition out and he broke things in the process. Post the pictures of this incident you can see all the shaving from the all the drilling and what ever else. The owner who owns or run this company is a bigger jerk, rude and unprofessional and truly do not care. When we told him about everything that happened, he tells us that we have a attitude, and hung up in my face. If you got money to give away, then use them, take that chance. I wish I could picket this business to help EVERYBODY not to get ripped off $100's of dollars later. I would been better off going to a shade tree locksmith. Spoke to locksmith who said he would provide a skc (cluster/immobilizer) pin for my 2007 audi a4. He initially quoted me $100 and said to call him back around 5. When I did he said he would have to do it another day at first. Then he changed his mind and said he would be Herr at my place of residence in 20 minutes(reply by text). When he arrived he grabbed a samsung tablet and a dongle out of the back of his jeep and plugged it into my car. The screen showed a 5 digit pin. He said take a picture and pay me I have to go. I said I would like to check it and he said he didn't have time. I paid him the cash(2 X $50) and he hopped in his truck and sped off. I tried the pin to code my key 4 different times(each time the cluster locked out for 10 minutes) I texted him that the pin did not work and his initial response was that I was using bad equipment (I was using a brand new vag com hex V2 with vcds). Then he said his code only works for his machine and I would have to pay an additional $200 for it to work. He became belligerent and called me stupid for paying him in the first place. I called the dealer about the pin and they said that it can only be claimed from a vw/audi database and a reputable locksmith would have gotten it from there. Also a reputable locksmith would have asked for title or registration. I could have been anyone.They also said that the cluster uses a 4 digit pin with a zero preceeding it. He quoted me $95 to give me a replacement ignition key, then charged me $109. I asked him if he could make a key for the door cause it was not the same key. He took the lock out and then I had to call him twice over a few days to get him to bring it back. He brought it back and put it in without telling me. He didn't give me a key for it. His number is linked to several different addresses. I had to call another locksmith because someone locked the door up on me. read more
