This will change your life! I have been looking for the right kind of fitness model and eating plan for over 5 years. Too many soccer injuries caused me to exercise less and pack on weight. I started at Honu Bootcamp about 7 months ago. I had hit a point where I needed to make a change for myself. The first days and weeks I think I had more questions than anyone Alfy had ever met. (Which by the way, he took in stride and answered them all without issue) The workouts are intense, and they force you to push yourself harder then you thought you could. It is the best thing I have ever done! When I started I couldn't imagine myself doing the things I can do today. Not to mention the 50+ lbs. I have lost. Honu Bootcamp is Amazing to say the least! This bootcamp has changed my life in the best way possible. Honu Bootcamp is not like any other bootcamp or exercise program I have every been too or tried. I have met the greatest people at bootcamp. The trainer Alfy, is not your typical trainer. He shows you hard work and where he started from. He shows you that it is possible to change your body no matter where you start from. Him and his wife are truly inspiring. I came across Honu Bootcamp but was unwilling to work out at 5:30am. I started personal training with Alfy October 2011. He was supportive and encouraging after going thru a rough break up. I was insecure about my size and didn't want to work out in front of other people. I stopped personal training with him in May 2012 because of medical issues. I contacted him about bootcamp in July because I missed working out. I did bootcamp a couple of times but wasn't completely physically ready. At the end of August I started bootcamp. I do lift weights at the gym some mornings at 4:30 am. He helped me with healthy food choices. His support and encouragement help me change my out look on food. I was gifted an online fitness coaching and meal plan by someone who has been attending Alfy's bootcamp for over a year. I must say, this worked really well for me. I tried for months to lose some weight, and was unsuccessful. Alfy's attention to his clients, online, and in person, as well as his availability and quick responsiveness make this program a recipe for success if you are diligent about following the plan. I get no less than 5 emails or text messages throughout the day giving me words of encouragement, and reminding me to stay on my plan. When I have questions, he has answers. Nothing I've ever done in terms of overall fitness training even comes close to what we do at boot camp. If your a distance runner this will be sort of fitness training that will increase your running times (5k, 10k 1/2 mar), your stamina and your core strength will improve. Yea sure you'll lose weight, that's a given. People do this boot camp for their own personal reasons...some for wieght loss, fitness etc . What I like best though...are the like minded fellow boot campers! You will learn about nutrition, supplements, and what it means to really eat clean. If you want to change your body, maybe develope some abs, then boot camp is for you but be prepared to work your butt off. read more

My daughters entered me in a contest after my mom passed away to win a month at bootcamp. I won!!! That was back in October and I have been coming to bootcamp ever since, 5 days a week and love it! Alfy is very knowledgable, kind and encouraging. I am an overweight 54 year old grandmother. I am stronger, I can do some boy push ups, I run (it's not pretty) but I do it anyway. I love boot camp and the workouts. I like going in the mornings the group of people there are so happy and positive. Alfy is a great trainer he pushes you and helps motivate you to stay on track. I hate running and boot camp is pretty much one of the places i can do intense cardio because Alfy pushes me. Other than that you wouldn't see me on the treadmill going as fast as i should even if i pushed myself the way he does. I just started boot camp about 2 weeks ago. It's a great program. Alfy is a great trainner that supports me 110% he really works to your wants and demands and is there to help you all the way.
