I would like to highly recommend Honor Services for home inspection. They did a great job and thoroughly inspected home of 30 years old. They climbed in the attic and inspected all the ductwork and insulation which was faulty. Photos were taken of all problem areas and issues. I have bought many homes over the years and used numerous different inspection companies. Honor Services has been the best home inspection company I have used. Gerald Turner Melbourne FL read more

Home inspection for a closing. Inspectors arrived on time even with very short notice as we were having a quick closing. They were thorough and prifessional. and even agreed to a face time chat to go over what they found in addition to a full document which we received in less than 10 hrs. The price was 600$ and something. Not cheap but about the going rate. read more

Honor Services did an inspection and advised we have a hip roof in the wind mitigation report. When the house was re inspected after we did some repairs Honor Services said we have a gable roof and our insurance premium skyrocketed. They even went so far to say that our previous insurance company (who we had for15 years) was wrong by listing our roof as a hip roof. Our roofer advised we have a hip roof, an architect advised we had a hip roof so we hired another inspection company. The new inspector advised our "roof was without a doubt 100 % hip roof". Honor Services caused us a loss of valuable time and money, DO NOT USE HONOR SERVICES they are INCOMPTENT. read more

I just used them for a home inspection and I was very happy with the results I called on a Monday they were at the property Wednesday did a thorough inspection of the home and pool and gave me a detailed 46 page report with photos for a very reasonable price. They were very professional and knowledgeable about the job they did. I have hired this company three times now with buying homes. There were two men which allowed for a fast and thorough job. I was pleased with the inspection. read more

Had the pleasure of using Honor Services to inspect a condo property I am buying. They came to the unit at the scheduled time, did a thorough inspection, and emailed me the report same day. The report is very comprehensive, with plenty of pictures. While I did not expect anything major to come out of the inspection, I was pleased to see that it gives me a place to start on the minor repairs that need to be done. Thanks! read more

I was able to schedule my home inspection totally online, within a week, and with some fantastic results. They sent two of their best out and I was thoroughly impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail. These guys work fast! We were in and out of the inspection within an hour and a half. My report was emailed to me (with pictures, and very well organized) the next day. They found things that even surprised the seller, and we were able to negotiate every issue with no problems. Honor totally rocks. I would only use these guys for my next home purchase. read more

My report had to be amended bc the roof was not actually inspected but was rated incorrectly. Finding inconsistencies between 4 pt and the actual inspection...this is causing problems with my insurance quotes and in the process making me do a lot of extra work. read more

I paid this company to do a 4 point inspection on a house I am buying after it was suggested by the insurance company. I found out later that a recent (4 months prior) 4pt inspection had also been done by a licensed inspector that had no affiliation with an insurance company. When their reports differed greatly, I contacted both inspectors. To say the least, this company does not like to entertain any idea that their "subjective, non data driven" opinions are in any way incorrect (or even subjective). I supplied permit history and sign off that the windows were replaced and inspected in 2007 with impact rated windows. Not only would they not accept the permit history, The owner (John) spoke trash about the local building inspectors as well about the other inspector (licensed, bon He was rude and demeaning to me especially after telling him I acted as homeowner/builder in CA on several properties. CA is known to have the strictest building codes in the US. The city of SF inspectors are the last word on anything. Showing a permit history is required for any changes/updates/repairs before a house can sell and proof for insurance companies, lenders, etc. Don't trust this company to be in your best interest. They are not. They seem to be in the pocket of the insurance company that refers them out. Jeff and Jim came to a home on which we have a purchase contract to perform a home inspection, pool inspection four point inspection (roof, electrical system, heating & cooling and plumbing system), and wind mitigation. They arrived on time and went over everything inside and outside the house. Jeff went through each and every problem they encountered, big and small, on site. Jim additionally went through all the areas which he had inspected. I've owned more than 35 rental properties so I know a thing or two that should have been examined. They absolutely blew me away with their thoroughness! We hired this company for the excellent reviews we found on each and every source we could find. If I could give them a 6th star I would do so because they far exceeded my expectations. read more

Always a pleasure. I've used Honor Services on several transactions. Both as seller and buyer. Professional, courteous and thorough.

Jeffrey Prescott arrived on time with his team to inspect a house we had made a bid on to purchase. Within a short period he had discovered a lot of corrosion in the cast iron sewage pipes that ran under the slab using his scope. A repair for a problem like this would involve having to trench the slab wherever the pipes ran throughout the house to replace them. The sewage pipe discovery was a deal breaker for us, and we declined to continue with the purchase. Honor Services likely saved us a lot of money and heartache by preventing us from buying a house with the potential for such a major problem. read more

Be ware of any company that has or only shows 5 stars. My experience from report done in Fed was the report was vague and inspector could not explain his findings. I thought he was either really good or did not knowing what he was talking about. He was not able to explain his findings. I had reports from prior years that did not back his findings. Bottom line they were not professional and having house respected by a different company. read more

Very thorough inspection on an end of warranty of a 1 yr old home. I worked definitely reccomend this company

We thought it may make sense to ask Honor Services if they could come down to do a townhouse inspection in Vero and luckily they did a couple days later. JP and Matt did a thorough inspection and to my surprise found evidence of a roof leak and attic issues. We also ordered a mold inspection for the first time and was surprised to find the results fairly straightforward. As a buyer I have actually skipped some home inspections in the past but am grateful that we didn't this time and that we called Honor. Very professional team. read more

Let me start by saying WOW!!! When I first called to set up an appointment Michelle answered and not only set up my appointment but was also extremely costumer service friendly, gave me all kinds tips on the next steps and even some contacts for home insurance! The day of the inspection, John was there with another inspector 10 minutes early. Upon meeting John, he explained how the entire inspection was going to go and started right away. I didn't want to bother him while he was performing the inspection but I did ask a few question to which he took the time to answer. I have never seen such a thorough inspection, 2 and a half hours later he was ready to sit and explain everything he had seen and done. It was insane the amount of stuff I had missed by looking at the house the first time I went there. The next day I received my report which was over 75 pages with pictures of every single problem/violation and I was really amazed. Honor will definetly be my go to company for any inspection I need from now on, and if I get any job done to the house I will make aure to call Honor to come look and inspect it once its done. It's well worth the money!! They are a family business and John was a contractor before, so he can see hidden problems better than most. Thanks for a job well done Honor!!! Thanks for being so professional, punctual and courteous! It's really getting harder and harder to find businesses like yours anymore now a days!!! read more

I am relocating to Brevard and did my research on finding a experienced Home Inspector. I was sold on getting a inspector with over 10 years of experience when I called and made the appointment. I was told two men, for two hours. What I got was one young man who was licensed less than 3 years ago. His report was shallow, he could not answer questions at the site about visible damage. He did not leave the ladder to inspect attics even for a WDO with obvious signs of wood destruction. I did call and question and was given a "Sorry" and after much complaining a small fee removed. Getting a experienced inspector was key for me and Honor Inspections did NOT honor their claims and I felt left out in the cold by this deceptive company. read more

Prompt, affordable, detailed, smart and thorough. I'll never buy a home again until they do an inspection

Our realtor recommended Honor Services and I am very happy that I went with them. John and crew are definitely gurus at this business. I attended the inspection with them and they took time to point out key maintenance issues and tips along the way. They were thorough, and utilized modern techniques and equipment to identify otherwise potentially hidden issues. Also, they go above and beyond even after the inspection itself to resolve unknowns (as an example what the wind rating of windows and doors are so that information is available to insurance). I think the rates were very reasonable and the value was exceptional. read more

Very thorough inspection. Great communication. No stone left unturned. A+

The inspectors were on time & extremenly thorough. They went through each aspect of the house & gave me a wonderful written diagnosis, including photos, so I would know exactly where each problem is located. The cost is a bit high, but probably the going rate and worth the entire amount !! I will defintely use them again when I sell. read more

Great inspection service. The team arrived on time and ready to work. They inspected the house from top to bottom and thoroughly, documenting everything they saw with photographic evidence, from the chimney to the baseboards. They answered any question I had while they were inspecting and we're happy to walk me to any point in the home and go over my questions in depth. The inspection report arrived early that evening as promised and highlighted in red any items that they considered critical in nature. The entire inspection report was over 50 pages long and is fantastic. I highly recommend their service to anyone wanting a home inspection. read more

Extremely thorough and professional job with our home inspection. I highly recommend them. They are worth every penny.

Seriously the best home inspection company that I have ever worked with in nearly 20 years as a real estate professional and over 30 years as a consumer! John was knowledgeable, efficient and patient with buyer inquiries. Would/will recommend to all.

Very pleased with the home inspection that Jeff & Paul conducted on the home that we are in the process of purchasing. They show up on-time and get to work. Their inspection covered most all facets of the home so that we know what needs immediate action and items that can be done to enhance the value. They were very thorough in inspecting the roof structure, attic, exterior/interior walls and windows/doors, visible plumbing, appliances, A/C, flooring, and electrical system. We also had them conduct a wind mitigation survey. The oral report that they gave before leaving the site and the written report were very thorough with extensive use of photographs to document the deficiencies. read more

We had Jeff and Paul perform our pre-purchase inspection. They were very thorough with their inspection and informative when issues were identified (the "why" it was called out). What an amazing company! Customer service like I've never seen before. From the beginning when I called to schedule the appointment the lady that scheduled us was super attentive. Super happy I found their website. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for these types of services. Definitely worth the money. read more

I'll start out by saying I am very very picky so some would say I should have given them 5 stars. I went through 2 different home inspection companies and kicked both of them out of my house. I called Honor Services and specifically told them what I am looking for the lady on the phone was very respectful and assured me we are the right company you are looking for. The inspectors showed up on time and I looked at them and immediately judged them because one of the inspectors looked so young and I thought to myself another waste of time and money. I WAS WAY WRONG! The young man was very knowledgeable and thought me plenty. Sorry I don't remember names but the older gentleman was on point as well. The reason for my 4 stars is the report was far better than I received from other companies but in certain areas it's lacking a better detailed information and recommendations. Again I am very very picky. But I wouldn't let my review turn you away. I would hire them again and will refer them to our friends. read more

John and his team from Honor were great. This was my first home purchase and he was thorough and explained everything that went on during the inspection process. As well, he saved me from purchasing a house with severe dry rot that had been painted over. Great guy and awesome service. I cannot recommend this company any higher. You won't be dissapointed. read more
