I give this company 5 stars easily…read more My daughter was traveling for the first time to Portland International. She missed a shuttle that a college was providing due to her flight being delayed. She had to go all the way to Eugene which is a two hour ride. I found Portland Luxury on Yelp and the owner Billy put me and my wife at ease. He tracked my daughters flight information, picked her up directly at the airport and texted her before she landed with all of the directions on where to meet. He even texted me when he picked her up and at the end of the ride to confirm she arrived safely. I am from the New York area and did not have a connection in Portland but I am so great full for Billy and Portland Luxury. He was a guardian angel who made sure my daughter got to her location safely. I recommend this company to everybody. If you are landing in Portland give Billie a call!

Yes, it will cost you more than an Uber/Lyft basic or maybe premium but well worth it for these reasons. Vehicle- We had a very nice, clean and newer Suburban/Escalade. Additionally, traveling with a family of 5, with luggage, has often left us with cancelled (by driver) Uber/Lyft, XL and Black options, depending on the size of the vehicle we randomly got assigned. Portland Black asked and therefore ensured the right vehicle was assigned to accommodate. Driver/Service - Leland, our driver arrived early (both at home and airport - used our flight number to track early arrival to PDX) - loaded up our luggage and handled each with care (unlike the do it yourself with most Uber/Lyft options). You could tell this guy was a pro so safety and comfort couldn't be better. Cost - You pay for what you get (not that Uber/Lyft are bad) but if reliability, comfort and safety are important, I highly recommend Portland Black Car.

From the moment I arrived, the service was unprofessional and the conditions were unacceptable. I booked my stay for February 18th to 22nd, and upon checking in at 4:30 PM, I was greeted by Jessica at the front desk. She was on a call with a guest about a domestic violence situation and showed no empathy or urgency. Once off the phone, she addressed me in a dismissive tone, which set the tone for the entire stay. The room I was given had a horrible cigarette smoke odor, so strong that my daughter immediately noticed it and had to plug her nose. I went back to the front desk to request a room change, but Jessica said it would be next to a "loud" family who wouldn't leave until Friday. She also seemed to be a smoker herself, which made the situation even worse. After she went to address noise complaints from other guests, she came back and claimed she couldn't smell the smoke. When I insisted the room wasn't acceptable, she said the room would need to be disinfected before we could switch. When I asked for a refund, Jessica told me to contact Expedia directly and refused to help. On top of that, when I asked for a receipt, she dismissively said they "don't print anything." This experience was extremely disappointing. My family and I decided to leave and book a room with a competitor. I will never stay at this location again, and I would highly recommend avoiding it if you're looking for any sort of quality service or comfort.
