Truck stop, convenience store, gas station, burger and grill. Had teriyaki chicken sandwich. Wife had gut buster. Man it was good! Had Applebee's last night, was not nearly as good as this food. Places have ups and downs so who knows, but I will stop here again before a TA or whatever... read more

So far this one is my number one burger joint and store in Jerome, Idaho and technically in Idaho period. Everyone there is very kind and the food is amazing! If u wanna have one of freshest cooked burger's come here. Also may I suggest getting the western burger is by far the best burger I have ever had. Also is all the booze u can drink it is a lil more expensive than a bar or a reasonably priced tallboy but it's decent. The bathroom's aren't bad could be better. But me being me is pretty simple minded when I feel at home everytime I go into Honker's. read more

My wife and I like to eat at the traditional "truck stops" as we travel. Not the big chain stops, but those that are local and charming in a rough hewn way First of all, when we walked in the door of the grill, we were greeted by the woman behind the counter with a hearty "welcome. Glad you are here. " I don't think I ever get a greeting like that from McDonald's or Burger King. The place is very interesting....it has everything that a trucker is going to need: a restaurant and grill, adult beverages, an extensive minimart, restrooms and showers. But the pièce de résistance? It has coin laundromat. I got the number two breakfast... Available 24/7. It was massive. In fact I took half of it with me wrapped up in a napkin when I left. My wife got the quarter pound burger... Which has fresh lettuce. None of that bag stuff. The restaurant has tables and chairs that are completely missed matched. That is a requisite for these kind of places. Tea curtains adorn some of the windows, a bookcase with homey items on it and an atmosphere that is not sterilized like the big chains. There were only two negatives that kept me from giving it five stars: the coffee was weak and not flavorful like one would expect., Quite honestly, this is a requirement at a truck stop. Secondly, the bathrooms need to be upgraded and cleaned a bit. They were usable, but they need to be taken care of. This place has it all. Gas, convenience store items, and a food counter. When I am craving a burger or comfort food this is where I end up. The burgers are consistently good and the staff treats me like a member of the family. read more

I ate a breakfast burrito in here while I waited for my car to get worked on. The burrito was huge and yummy! The server was sweet and the regular customers that walked in seemed to know they were family, I always love seeing that! read more
