We ordered the prawn spring rolls and chicken satay for our appetisers. Deep fried pastries with king prawns, a must try. The chicken satay was served with a flavourful satay sauce on 4 skewers. I highly recommend both of them, super tasty. For our main dishes we order the massaman curry with a side of coconut rice. Extremely delicious and creamy. Big chunks of beef and potato with coconut milk and cashew nuts. We also ordered the pad see ew, thick noodles with soy sauce, egg, and veges. Would love to go back and try the pineapple fried rice, pan gang curry, and some other apps. Everything on the menu looked delicious. Staff were nice and restaurant was very comfy. The food here is quite elevated. We had the three course meal where we got to pick our courses from a selection of offerings. Inside where we were seated is white and modern with a formal feeling. We did not do the tasting menu, but rather the three course a la carte menu. Writing this review too long after our visit, with no website to look at, all I can remember is the carrot and ginger soup amuse, with wonderful flavors, and the venison main course. The venison was cooked perfectly and accompanied by a nice assortment of fresh garden vegetables. I do remember that everything was great and cooked perfectly. Lunch is served a couple days a week, otherwise its dinner only.

The restaurant is very intimate lighting and space wise and quite noisy once full. By the end the only seats left were the ones we vacated. Our waitress was very helpful and suggested a 2-3 person banquet for our first Sephardim experience. We chose the $65 p/h Amante de Hambre offering 5 tapas dishes, an ottoman grill and dessert. The fattouche salad and ajo were the perfect start with the ajo easily outdoing any garlic bread I have eaten in my life. The other dishes were on par with one another but next time I'll definitely pick less of the fried variety. The pomegranate on the hummus kawarma were little burts of brilliance. I always thought they were a useless addition to meals but they really do make it sing. The desserts were interesting and I was expecting to find the beignet (doughnuts) most to my liking but surprisingly enjoyed the Turkish delight best. No overpowering rosewater, just right. It is an expensive outing but the staff were terrific and the food something different. Definitely a restaurant worth trying.

Highly recommend sitting on the balcony as it offers the best view with a nice gentle breeze, although, inside of the restaurant is also great with wonderful artworks on the wall and nice calming music.
