The extremely loud music made ordering very difficult. It's hard to understand the waiter and for them to understand you. OTOH, the food is very good. The food alone would push this place up to four stars except for the other problems. The selection of tequila is pretty small, surprising considering the name of the place. When served, it's basically a shot inside a large glass. The prices for the drinks are rather high for the area but, would be normal in the US.

The waiter brought some "pastes", which are the traditional and typical dish in Pachuca, letting us know they are $13 each (less than a dollar). My kids loved them and only wanted that for dinner, with a Milkshake. The adults ordered local dishes which are very well served and tasty, one of them being quite spicy if you're not used to hot dishes. "Dobladitas La Blanca" had no spice at all, so it's perfect if you want anon-spicy dish. "Enchiladas de la abuela" erre delicious if you like Chile! I would recommend it , it seems the menu is full of good stuff, there's a reason this is the city's oldest restaurant, they have good food and great prices!
