However, Amanda (at the front) was extremely nice and accommodating. She reimbursed us for the amenities we did not get to use and was so sweet and apologetic for the situation. More businesses should have customer service and employees like Amanda; it could have been a negative experience due to getting kicked out of the gym, however good customer service makes all of the difference. There was a teen room that had computers, air hockey table, pool table, video games, bean bag chairs. Was disappointed that the video games were not available due to not having staff for that area. The double basketball court was nice except all the balls were very warn and on the flat side. The indoor pools were nice and the locker rooms were clean. Remember to bring your own lock for the lockers. The workout room had a good variety of equipment. Plenty of washcloths available. I saw several different workout classes. Overall it is a very nice place for the family.

Walked in to look for a new gym, walked up to the front counter and was ignored for 4-5 minutes with a worker playing on her phone 2 feet away from us. A lady from the back had to come and get her attention. Never offered a tour, or what that had to offer, so we went and walked around looking for ourselves to see what they had. Glad that happened, we found a place that was very happy to add us as members. My personal experiences, some may love the place but your front line workers are an example of how management conducts themselves. Not for me. I need more than some weights, customer service goes a long way.

The front desk is often unmanned, and I have seen numerous teenage non-members enter and use the weight room without any of the staff being aware of their presence. But the worst aspect is that there is often no lifeguard on duty, particularly in the early morning. The management of this Y must start running this place in a more professional manner.

But most importantly, MY KIDS LOVE THE CHILDREN'S NEST! When you first go for a tour, it's not too much to look at compared to some more (much more) expensive daycare facilities. But they have all the space they need for the kids and it is kept CLEAN. They have separate classrooms for different ages. They have a huge indoor play area (for bad weather days) and plenty of outdoor spaces that are catered to your child's specific developmental needs (i.e. big kids go to the big kid's play ground while the younger kids have smaller and infant/toddler friendly play areas). They provide meals and snacks, unless your child has dietary restrictions then you provide the food. But they are very adamant about following your directions in regards to feedings, potty training and any other special need you/your child may have. The best part about the daycare is that all of the teachers genuinely love and care for each child. EVERY teacher knows my children's names, even if they do not teach or interact regularly with them every day. And my kids are always excited to go, learn, play...and they nap! That is a bonus! You get a verbal report of how their day was and in the 1-2 yr old class you get a written report as well. Ok, this was a long review. Bottom line, they are awesome! They never returned my call. A week later, I tried again, and once again the person was not available. This time, however, they did call me back the next day. At first they were friendly, telling me that they may be able to fit him in. When I told them that I was seeking short-term child care (two months), they abruptly switched me to a different person. This second person made me ask my question again, then tersely told me that they couldn't help me and rushed me off of the phone. I completely understand that short-term child care is not something that everyone offers, but that is no reason to treat me like a pest for asking!

For my large wedding, we chose Aztec for our rentals. We rented plates, several types of glasses,…read moreand a few other random items. They were nice when I placed the order and accommodating to my request to pickup on Thursday before the wedding. And their prices for rental were pretty reasonable and on-par with other rental places. I found their selection to be lacking, but they were really the only option nearby. They also did not have enough of certain items for me to order through them so I had to go elsewhere and buy some items. When we arrived to pickup our order, after calling beforehand to make sure it was ready, it was in fact not ready. We had to wait around while they got everything together and they ended up missing some items so we had to go back again to pick those up. Once we started pulling out the items, we noticed that every plate and glass needed to be washed. Washing almost 1000 glasses was not what I wanted to do the day before my wedding. Once we returned the items, they said that we were missing some glasses and plates, but they counted them in the back so we had no way to confirm their count. We just had to go with that and pay the astronomical prices for their rental items ($13 for a plain white plate?). Overall, I was not happy with my experience and probably should have gone somewhere else.
