Put the window in and it was all wrong! wrong number of panes and wrong color! Left that window and I refused to pay other half until it was fixed. 6 months later they scheduled, cancelled, rescheduled, cancelled and rescheduled replacement. I repeatedly asked for a discount for all the trouble and length of time it took and they would NOT even give me a 1% discount! The only positive was the installation guy- he was great, other than that- they sucked and will never use them again!!! Lynn and Jimmy Burton Hayti, MO

They required a 50% deposit with an estimated install of 3-4 months. Received a call in May that the doors would be installed in early June. (We are in COVid times so not an unacceptable delay by any means.) June 7 the installer arrived with only one door and said I'd need to contact the office about the other door. This was my first major issue. I took a day out of my schedule to be home for the installation and wasn't told there would only be one door installed before the guy actually showed up to put the door in. So I called, wasn't given an apology or a reason, but was instead told they had no idea when they'd actually get the second door and that I'd get it when they got it. The discussion got unpleasant at that point and I requested that if the door wasn't received--or they couldn't at the very least give me a firm timeframe--by the end of July I'd like my deposit money back so I could order one from somewhere else. (We also ordered two doors from Lowe's in January, those were installed by early April.) The gentleman informed me they don't refund under any circumstances--so know going in your money will be held hostage for an indeterminate amount of time until they are ready to deliver them. Now the real circus began. I'd need to take another day off whenever the second door would arrive. I got a few more calls from them in the month of July with install dates that were cancelled and updates that weren't updates. (They still couldn't say when the door would get there.) once August hit and I hadn't heard from them in a couple of weeks, I placed a call to their corporate office to complain. "Shockingly" I got a call from the local office a few days later to set up another install date for August 19, 2021. Not quite 8 months after I placed my initial order and gave them thousands of my dollars to hold onto. They arrived with a door. The crew was friendly. They had the door installed within a few hours. Unfortunately, that's all the nice things I have left to say. I've included pictures, the workmanship--particularly on the outside trim--was pretty awful. One entire piece of trim doesn't match (white instead of tan), large gaps were left in most of the corners and crammed with silicone (they could have at least used a paintable or tinted caulking to attempt to cover up the sloppy cuts), there's an entire strip of exposed brick/frame at the top of the door), and because of a size difference between the new door and the old one there was a gap of a few inches wide at the bottom threshold between the exterior brick wall and new door frame. Instead of filling that gap to form a solid surface for the trim to rest on, it's hollow underneath. With nothing but silicone holding it down I suspect that will have to be pulled up and mitigated at some point for the threshold not to fail the fist time any significant weight is applied to it. In short, it's substandard work for "professionals" and I suspect you'd be better off doing it yourself. They do warranty their work and the doors, but I'm honestly not sure I want them near my home again, nor am I confident they would address these issues in a timely and professional manner. So I'm stuck either fixing it myself, paying even more money to someone else to fix it, or continuing to deal with a company I have very little confidence in. So for now I'll share my review in the hopes it'll help someone avoid making the same mistake we made. Take your business elsewhere.

User Review By Teresa S…read more Cape Girardeau, MO March 29, 2023 spacer If i could give this business a 0 stars i would. Mr. Bleckler added a walk up entryway to my basement. First, he did not get the proper permits for the job and built it against code. There are so many things wrong with this build but i will highlight the worst. Water leaks in everywhere. The inside now has black mold on the studs. The roof had a dent in it and he was going to bring a full sheet of metal to cover it, was here with it and then left with it. I had a specific door i wanted put on that was $319.00. He put on a $125.00 door and told my daughter-in-law, "oops, i got the wrong door." He had workers that we supposedly learning how to do this and the man was supposed to be an electrician but could not install a 3-way switch without throwing a breaker if the light is on and they use an electrical appliance in the kitchen. He was frequently gone and didn't come when he said he would. He told me steel went up and he needed $800 more for it so i paid him in cash. My d-i-l watched me count in the house and then i took it out to him. Whe he came back he said i only gave him $600. He said i was not paying for labor but it is clearly on his bid. When i asked for receipts, i was not given any. He has insurance but only liability not against his workmanship. I attempted to take him to small claims court but he could not be found to be served. I contacted his insurance company for help in reimbursement and that's when i found out his insurance is only liability. The adjuster cannot reach him. I would not hire him to build a doghouse for me.

All the excuses CP wrote were absolutely true I also know firsthand that he takes money from people and doesn't even show up with the materials. There is something in action now that will stop him from cashing checks. Do not absolutely do not give him cash and if he's not willing to give you a receipt if you choose to hire him anyway after reading CP and all of this confirming everything then make sure you get that receipt before handing over any money whatsoever. He thinks he is the Teflon Don and everything is going to roll off him but eventually it will all come to an end and again SCP wrote whatever he responds is just another lie
