Between the dog digging under and the one or two big rains we had part of the highest wall collapsed. We called Alonzo for a plan and estimate. We wanted a block wall with a cleaner look, tiers the same height across the length, stairs to the top, and a way to divert the water run-off for any large storms. This involved taking down over 100 railroad ties, movinv tons of sandy dirt, adding irrigation and top soil, to the second level for planting, laying 80 lb blocks and caps, steps, grading the top level to direct any run off away from the wall and toward the rock lined retention pond and slope at the side, back filling dirt behind the walls and compacting as much as possible. In addition he restored the rock landscaping in the front that was disrupted with the equipment and rock uaed for the back. His team was on the job every morning before 7, and worked until 4:30, taking minimal breaks other than a normal lunch , they cleaned up their trash and whatever trash was associated with the project, and made sure our gate was secured at end of day so our dog didn't get out of the yard. They were respectful and polite and worked hard. It was an expensive project with a lot of work, completed in about 2 weeks, and is beautiful. The transformation from railroad ties to block enhances our home look so much . Can't wait to plan for the plants. Thank you Alonzo and 2 Green Landscaping. We might have been able to have a less expensive quote but the quality is what we paid for.

Also gave me a quote for other work that was not requested but something we would have contemplated. Regardless never go the quote so went with someone who was way less expensive. Would love to put numbers in here to show the difference but since I never got the quote emailed to me I cannot tell you how much they would charge you. If you want to go through all the work for a quote and never get the quote, then this is your team.

They cleaned at the base of my blooming yucca & barrel cactus. The entire yard, side yards & around the edge of our property was sprayed with a pre-emergent & weed killer. Right at the appointed time, James Diaz came to hear our concerns about the yards, answered questions we had and made recommendations for the "deep clean" we thought it needed. He identified that we had a tree that was infected with borers (we didn't know what they were initially). We received the estimate as promised and were able to pick and choose the items we wanted easily. I talked most often with Alexia who was always professional, friendly and helpful. When the work was scheduled, they arrived on the days and times as expected. Alexia regularly communicated to advise of their anticipated arrival. I was able to be at home when the landscape workers were there and saw how efficiently and thorough they were in the removal of weeds, removal of the infected tree, trimming of all our shrubs, removal of the old mulch and the laying down of the new compost in our backyard. They blew and cleaned up all of the debris in our yards and finally applied pre-emergent and and weed treatment. They did a beautiful job! I am so pleased with how the yards look now. Thank you!

They were booking appts for estimates so we grabbed the first open date - the end of March. Ernie arrives at the appointed time - I show pics to give him a rough idea of what I'm looking for. Nothing radical, mainly trees for shade, shrubs to fill some empty areas and trimming up what's there. Then it's into the back yard to explain further and discuss options. He listened, took notes & some measurements. I got some great ideas to consider with my project. Let him know I was past the planning phase and ready to get started. Estimate should be ready in a few days and he'd send it over. Great - I'll have a nice looking backyard, some shade and all before the heat sets in. That was the last time I heard from anyone @ ABQ Landscape. 10 days goes by, leave message asking if the estimate was done. About a month and half later still no response to that or any other messages I've left. I guess they've got all the business they need and didn't want mine. Unfortunately there seems to be an over abundance of contractors in ABQ that think they're doing people a favor by being in business and customers will take that abuse. No, if you don't respond within a reasonable time I look for the next business. With this one you might want to save time by looking for someone else.

Yea...that was my unfortunate case when I finally decided to reach out to contractor who could help me with it. After researching contractors online, I called ABQ Landscaping about having someone come out to my property to take a look at potential irrigation/sprinkler leakages and problems with sprinkler system that went off in the middle of the night and they were able to get someone (this was very different from many contractors I reached out to where I felt like I was being put in the backburner by scheduling me a week or more out and they didn't want to give me much priority). Ernie answered my call and did what he promised me which was to give me more details about the time the technician would stop by. He was also prompt and upfront about potential costs/work that may entail. On the day of, Alfredo showed up on time. He was courteous and knowledgeable. Despite me not knowing much about the home (since I recently moved in and not knowing what the previous owner had done...other than everything was dating back to way before 2000s..), Alfredo not only was able to help me identify problem, offer solutions and, in the case of outdated system like my sprinkler control system, recommended the work that could be done as well. Not only that, on the same day, I was able to get some estimates, the breakdown of the work that needed to be done...and get started on the work that was agreed on in addition to the check up. Initially, I thought the work would just me to show me around the remote control and fix very minor thing for an hour, but I was able to get much more from their visit. Ernie was able to have Alfredo stay over to work for the whole remainder of the day to fix and upgraded (where needed) the yard sprinkler/irrigation system at my place. Very happy with the work they did (I'm sure my neighbors were thrilled too!) and will use them for this type of work (landscaping, irrigation, sprinkler) again!

I contracted them to do some initial yard clean-up, and from there they demonstrated efficiency, professionalism and tremendous integrity and work ethic. In addition to those important qualities, when discussing future garden and landscape design, it was clear that they were also creative. It doesn't stop there. Back to Earth Landscaping also builds outdoor and interior spaces, repairs stucco, paints outdoor woodwork, and will do other household interior repairs similar to what would be done when building an outdoor kitchen or outdoor interior Garden space. The quality and beauty of their work speaks to itself, and their costs are representative of that quality product and they stand by their work! I can't imagine doing business with anyone else. Highly recommend!

After returning with the correct replacement part... I soon discovered that the broken bonnet had lodged itself in the female side of my plumbing, and I was terrified to go after it to pull it out... For fear of ruining the existing plumbing assembly. That said, I called just Sprinklers back, and I was handed over to the very knowledgeable young lady... Who walked me through on how to remove the broken bonnet without damaging my existing plumbing assembly. 30 seconds later, I was screwing in the new bonnet into the assembly and everything was back up and running. What a great learning experience this was. Keep in mind they could've just sent somebody out and build me a couple of hundred bucks to do this themselves... But they took the initiative to walk me through this correctly over the phone... Do you think I'm gonna call them down the road for help?? Absolutely... 100%... Now this was customer service. I wish I could remember the young ladies name but boy she was helpful and knowledgeable and confident... It's so nice dealing with someone like that when you need help... Thank you...
