I ate here yesterday. The food was GREAT! We started with cheese pupusas. They were different from the Salvadorian pupusas as they were not at all greasy and were slightly crispy. Onto the next course, we had carne asasda, that was served with beans, rice, avocado, a salsa fresca, fresh cheese and maiz tortillas that were made to order.
The carne was delicious, bursting with flavor of cumin and garlic. Everything else was also good.
The Honduran beer, SalvaVida was enjoyable - a light lager-type beer, with a little more flavor than Corona, and a bit less sweet.
The meal was very reasonably priced. I will be going back for more - I saw photos of the nacatamales and I really want to try them. read more
