Next day the tile installers for the wallsplash came and did not bring the tiles so they sat in their truck for 1-1/2 hours and then when someone brought the tile they said they would not be able to do it because he was getting married at noon. They came the next morning (Saturday) and could not finish because they ran out of tile because apparently it was measured wrong. So I had to wait a week for the tile to come in and in the meantime one tile fell off the wall and broke and three others have scratches in them. They were supposed to be here today (one week later) at 9 a.m. and did not show. They said they came at 7:30 a.m. and we did not answer. Funny cause we were home saw the truck pull up sit there a minute and then leave. Never recommend these people to anyone. Now they say maybe they can come out later, if not it will be next week. Worst company ever!

I am still fighting to get my cabinets done properly. I have a cabinet that was broken from day one. The installer promised to fix it and never did. The doors are warped and don't close properly. The light rail is also warped. I contacted the store only to get a run around for months and from one manager to another to another in the Port Orange, FL store. They can't seem to keep managers long enough to see a project through to the end. I tried contacting the owner, to no avail. The company sent out someone to inspect the warped doors and light rails a year plus later. He took pictures and sent them back to one of the managers showing the defects. Finally, after 2 years, the store ordered new doors and light rail but wanted me to pay the new installers to install the product. I should not have to pay for a defective product. The company is blaming the original installers for the warped product. They told me I needed to contact the original installers to install the replacement parts. The company is not standing behind the workers they hired. The company is doing everything in their power to not correct my issues unless I pay additional money. They also ordered the wrong granite countertop. I complained immediately but got nowhere. In addition, they bullnosed the granite countertop in my house without putting up protection for my house. It took me months to clean up all the granite dust. I went to the store countless times, called countless times, only to be brushed off each and every time. This list of issues just goes on and on and on. Now, we are in small claims over the issues. I had to give a least a 1 star, however, I would not give any.

We had issues with the color/finish of the cabinet fronts not matching the rest of the cabinet. Apparently Deems Vendor had changed their finishing vendor between the time we selected our cabinets and had them installed. Matt worked tirelessly over a 6 month period to help us get the cabinet fronts that correctly matched the rest of the cabinets. He came out numerous times inspecting the replacement and rejecting them because there was not a proper color and/or finish match. Almost immediately, he began making decisions without asking me first- the way the tile was laid, the placement of the shower niches, the length of the cabinets, the layout of my master bathroom shower- he would just make these decisions on his own. He never comes to the job site as he says he trusts his guys. However, when something goes wrong, he wants to place blame on anyone but himself... EVERY...SINGLE...TIME. The last thing to be installed was my "frameless" shower glass. Well, it was supposed to be frameless, and my contract states that it would be frameless, but what I received was not frameless. I have an extremely long thread of emails and texts of Jim trying to convince me that what he had put in was frameless glass with a U-channel (a frame). Of course, he tried to blame me stating that I didn't show him my vision, but isn't that something he should ask before making decisions on his own? I told him I was not going to pay my last payment, which would cover the cost of an actual frameless glass enclosure, and his response was that he didn't need it anyway. Then, he proceeded to get reassurance that I wasn't going to leave a bad review. I wasn't going to leave a review until he failed to respond (after 3 attempts) to an issue with my grout in both bathrooms. It's all caving in, and I can run my fingernail over it and it comes off like powder. I called the grout manufacturer, and they stated this was due to too much water when mixing grout. In order to refrain from getting mold issues, I've had to pay someone else to repair his guy's mess. Overall, the bathrooms appear to look nice but quality is definitely lacking. The experience was an absolute nightmare, and I will never use Jim with ReNew Kitchen and Bath Design ever again.
