ADDITIONALLY: the vet MISDIAGNOSED my cat with an dental infection, when in actuality, it was a wound under her tongue that was later discovered and treated promptly by the veterinarians and techs as Bloomington Veterinary Hospital (a vet i would recommend 1000%). some notes regarding cost: office visit is $130 recommended bloodwork (which was pushed on us twice without reasonable explanation as to why this would be necessary AND by two different vets at this office, despite one vet never having examined my cat) is minimally $400-$450 prescribed medicine is within the usual range, but we were prescribed 2 bottles of antibiotic (way more than necessary) rather than 1, which drove up the overall cost of the visit significantly and was only addressed when we requested a breakdown of the bill in total. final note: the vet tech who assisted us was very kind and helpful, and the front desk staff when we visited were doing their jobs - my gripe is not with the people who are following the broken system, my issue lies with the standard of practice at this office, and primarily, the vets. also, in this age of scamming and review bombing, this review is written entirely by myself with input from my partner, NO AI was consulted. this is not a spam review - for your sake (and your wallet's) and your pet's health, avoid this business at all costs.
