This is the BEST pizza I have ever had - no freaking joke! My wife and I ordered the BBQ Chicken pizza along with the cheese bread with pizza sauce and ranch. Picking up the food was super easy with parking spots for pizza pickup orders. Good music playing of course, and the owner was so friendly and kind to talk to. Honestly one of the nicest guys! Then we got home and ate the food - my pregnant wife was in heaven. The bread is the PERFECT ratio of cheese to bread and the sauce makes a great extra pairing. The pizza - OMG! You can tell the ingredients were fresh, the food cared for, and again; the PERFECT crust/bread to sauce/topping ratio. Honestly, go to this place as much as possible. As of 4-12-24 - Bad... Really bad... Phone personnel have been trained according to them to use protective swear words and protect the business... Our $ 70+tip = $90 dollar order was never deliver... We had hungry people! What a fiasco - we called after and hour and 15 minutes then got cussed out - that they are so busy... When we called after and hour and 20 minutes - 40 minute delay they cussed us out and said we are busy!!!! ... Jerks is an understatement... I will never order again from this bafoons... Hometown used to be one of our favorite local pizza joints. We kind of took a hiatus when my cousin started working at another place but my cousin moved recently so a few weeks ago my husband suggested a Hometown revival. Have never had a bad experience with Hometown. Every time we deliver, they are on time. Every time I go in, they are customer friendly. Have been tipping high during COVID, and they definitely show their appreciation. On to the food.. living in a populous area, there are many pizza places we can choose from. We have tried several, but will never go away from Hometown again. The pizza is spot on (we go to the Buffalo chicken and hometown). The wings are even phenomenal. Every single time we get this pizza we wonder why we go anywhere else. Hands down the best. A little pricier than a $5 hot and sweaty but way worth it. First time here. We ordered two medium pizzas and cheese sticks. I was really impressed how good the pizzas were. Even skeptical that I was just really hungry but nope,Reheating the leftovers in the air fryer during the week for lunch proved the pizza really was that good. This is the second time we had food from Hometown Pizza. I'm not sure why we go any place else. We love their food. We had fish & chips for 2 and it came with 8 good size pieces of cod and a lot of fries and a cold slaw for each of us. Our son got a Cajun Calzone and it came in a pizza box. This thing was huge. This is the second time my family and I have been severely disappointed in our food from this location. 60% of the time our experiences have been positive, and the pizza has been well worth the cost and the drive. Even on a horrible, blizzard-fouled night, the pizza was hot and delicious. Tonight, not only was the pizza inedible, it wasn't the least bit warm, it WAS salty as all get out, and it lacked a crust! How could anyone with eyes - and a reputation for excellent pizza - send a pie out the door looking like three sheets of soggy paper with greasy toppings on it? Seriously, the crust was non-existent, and the whole thing left me wishing I had ordered from just about anywhere else. Was it something you made earlier in the evening for another customer, realized there was something wrong with it, and just set it aside for an hour-and-a-half, until you could figure out what to do with it? Not only that, but I made the mistake of ordering some fun sides (what another waste of money); I have finally decided it won't be worth playing Russian Roulette with my dining dollars any longer. The waffle fries did not match earlier samples (esp. in the quantity), and the onion rings were as bad as those from Arby's. WHAT HAPPENED TO HOMETOWN PIZZA?!? Idea: How about you shutter the restaurant and try your hand at roofing....and you can use the sad pizza-like objects you crank out as shingles. I want my money back - seriously. read more

I have been going to Hometown Pizza since they opened and always looked forward to their pizza. The crust, sauce and toppings used to be second to none. But since the summer of 2012 things have changed.Did new owners buy the place or what ?? The pizza sauce is bland and almost non existent on the pizzas now. I was pretty excited to try this place after reading through the few reviews and I must say I am pretty disappointed. I ordered a medium cheese and pepperoni and I can honestly say a hot-n-ready looks and tastes better. When I got home and opened the pizza up it looked like it had been sitting for some time.
