I met with Jimmy a couple months ago to look at properties in Boise. My girlfriend and I were looking to purchase a new home. Jimmy was very personable over the phone and it seemed like he knew the local area very well. However, when we met Jimmy at the first home we were looking at, he showed up totally hammered. He DROVE to our appointment and got out of the car reeking of hard liquor. He was slurring his words and was clearly very intoxicated. When I told him we should reschedule because he seemed "tired" (my way of being polite and less direct) he yelled at us and said something to the effect of "you wasted my time!". We left right away. Unfortunately I am embarrassed to say that we did not call the police right away and notify them because we knew he is in law enforcement and thought there could be some retaliation. After some reflection, I did contact law enforcement and filed a complaint (i.e. the drunk driving). I am not sure if anything came of it but felt like it was the correct thing to do (albeit very very late). I am really ashamed to say I did not report it sooner. Anyways, I would look for other realtors in the community to use. read more
