Had a issue with my ac not cooling so I called Dependable Htg and Electrical…read more The service tech had a very busy schedule for the day so he showed up just at 5 pm, Turns out The issue was just the thermostat setting. Total time he spent at my residence less than five minutes. I asked him what I owed to my shock and amazement he said $150.00 So I went to their office a five minute drive from my residence and asked if they thought a $150 .00 was a fair charge for less than 5 minutes of time. They said yes it was the charge for a service call it included the call and first half hour of labor, if that is true then why didn't the technician change my filters or give me the half hour of labor I was charged. Seems like they need the money more than customers which in the future won't be me.

They are totally unresponsive since I asked in September, 2020 to have leaking AC coils replaced under warranty that was about to expire within a week. I was assured by Morgan who checked with her boss/owner that they had ordered the parts the day I spoke with them and when the part came in they would install with only the labor charge. I have called and left messages repeatedly since September 2020 for status and have not received any call backs on this repair. Now the warranty is over and should I go with a different company it won't be ordered and installed under warranty.

Supreme Air Services was contracted by my home warranty company to repair my central air system…read more Tech came out, troubleshoot system and couldn't find the issue. System blowing air out like the fan is on, not cold air. Called warranty company back and explained a/c is still not working properly and that my home was up to 80 degrees inside, so I put a window unit in. They said supreme air has to be the one to come back out. I called Francis at supreme air to see when he would come back out. He stated I could " call a major ac repair company, pay their diagnostic fee, tell me what they find and I will repair that". I called Choice Warranty back and requested a new company to come out. They said that it would have to be Supreme Air for the second visit. Supreme Air told me they would be out today, Tuesday the 4th. He told my warranty company the same thing. Spoke with him moments ago and he stated he can't come out until Thursday, the 6th. 2 weeks with a/c not working properly and I'm stuck with this company unless I pay out of pocket. I would highly recommend choosing one of the "major" a/c repair companies in the area.
