I was shocked to find that it shrank to a point I couldn't wear it. When I took it back, Cathy called me (an assistant manager) and said no problem...we can re-stretch it. I was relieved. It's a very special favorite of mine. She warned me it may take a few tries. I wasn't surprised the first try, that it didn't stretch, but after the 3rd try, I tried it on for the woman who was doing the work and showed her. Then when I returned to try again...it got much longer which made it even smaller to be around my body. I'm a size six, and I needed to be a 0! After 5 tries, I said I was done with their help. I asked to talk to the owner, but he is always out of town, but they assured me that he would call. He never did. After three weeks, I went back to get my dress and they acted like they had no idea where it was. My husband even went (because they said you have to come before 3:00 p.m., but I work and can't do that). They gave him the run around too. Finally Cathy was made to call me and give me the bad news. They've had my dress for 4 mos. and the owner told her to tell me that they followed the directions on the dress, so they aren't going to do anything else (btw, I don't have the dress back yet, but apparently on the directions it says that you can either wash it or dry clean it...Silly me, thinking that when I take clothes to a DRY CLEANER and expect them to actually DRY CLEAN!) Guess they decided to put a knit dress in a washer and dry it on high heat! I could've done that!!!!. I bought it for $145 two years ago. I understand about depreciation etc., you would think they would try to help.

Well......if 'get out' meant change the color and put a hole in the dress and then mark it as 'this is the best we can do,' and still try and charge me for it, then I guess they succeeded. I was so angry and asked for the owner, Jim, to call me before I left that day. Not only did he never call me but never returned any phone calls either. Useless!!! What a poor business ethic!

I'm reading some of the older negative reviews and wondering if they changed hands. I also want to note the store is located next to Big Apple Bagels at 1963 Wisconsin Ave, Grafton, WI 53024. It seems they might have at one point been located in the plaza by Cost Cutters Hair Salon. Anyway, the place is spotlessly clean. The turnaround time on my clothing has been very fast! This last time, they told me I could pick up my pants a couple days later on Saturday. I got a call later that day from the clerk that accepted my pants, explaining that he had forgotten that they are closed Saturday for the holiday. He offered to rush my order and have it ready on Friday. I was in no hurry so I told him to just wait--I didn't need the pants that soon. I thought the call was very thoughtful. If this continues, I will make Young's my new dry cleaner.
