To say I'm disappointed, is an understatement. If I lived closer, I would be having a face to face conversation with the owner of the company. I purchased a vehicle from Hometown a few months ago. It was advertised that it ran and drove well. This was not the case. I live in a different state, so I had to have the vehicle shipped. I have bought many vehicles over the years, and I've never had one shipped to me. Needless to say, I will never do that again. I'm aware that used vehicles sold are as-is, but this was downright false advertisement.
Once I received the vehicle, I took it out for a drive, excited to finally have it. Once I got to around 30mph, it started to shake violently, and there was a lot of noise being made. After getting it back home, I noticed leaks coming from the brake lines. I could no longer drive it, as it was unsafe with the leaking brake lines. I had it towed to a shop, and upon further inspection, it needed several repairs. The total cost of repairs ended up being several thousand dollars. Hard lesson learned. Buyer beware. read more
