We had heard nothing but positive feedback from other neighbors in our community who hired them, and our experience was no different. The experience exceeded our expectations in every way. And what we appreciated most was their professionalism and attention to detail. Every single day, the SBCI team left the worksite spotless, which made living through a renovation much less stressful. Even more impressive was their reliability; they completed phases of the project exactly on the schedule they laid out at the beginning. Communication was top-notch; Steve kept us informed throughout the entire project, was always responsive to our questions, and made the process incredibly easy. Beyond their excellent process, the team's knowledge and skill were truly impressive. They offered great suggestions and clearly took pride in their craftsmanship. We started this journey in September of 2025 and we can't wait to see the final product in just a few days which will be a week earlier before the end of October 2025. I'm confident and would hire SBCI again for any future projects. Thank you Steve and your entire crew!

I would not recommend using Rosebud. I hired them to build a simple deck. When they encountered…read moreissues, they made modifications to the deck with consulting me. The result was a messed-up patch that looked like an amateur built the deck. I contacted Joe, the owner and his response was basically "too bad." There was no thought into the aesthetics and functionality of the modifications. bad value for the cost. I am very dissatisfied. Response to owner's reply: I could not reply to Joe's response, so I had to add this review. They did discover issues when they removed the old deck, which is understandable. My issue is that after finding the issues, they did not change the plans to accommodate the issue. The deck was expected to be near ground level, but when they found the ground too high, they raised the deck to over two feet high. That caused the need for steps, which were not tied into the walkway, leaving an unsightly dirt gap. On the other side of the deck, where the old deck abutted a small wooden retaining wall from the old deck, they were going to leave a 6-inch wide and 1-foot-deep gap between the new deck and the old deck wall leaving a hazard. That is what they fixed at no charge as I said I would not pay for that. They should have added 6 inches when they saw the existing plan would leave that gap. The fix was not pretty and did not line up. They also left a portion of the old dirty from hanging from the deck. The new expensive deck is no showpiece. They owner says he did not want to convey "too bad", but his only response to the issues was to suggest they give me a bid to do additional work. I said I would not hire them again because the workmanship was poor. I will add pictures tomorrow.

They were very flexible with us when we paint change as well as while we were doing our own construction projects, the crew cleaned up each night (better than any contractor I've ever worked with), they installed all our new light fixtures to complete the remodel (because lord knows installing those things are the WORSE) and overall, Jonathan and his team were always very fair and professional. Would hire them again in a second and have already recommended them to friends looking to have general construction projects and painting projects completed.

What Andrew's crew was able to do with our cedar deck was nothing short of a miracle! We have a two…read moreyear old deck that was destroyed by a cheap deck staining company we took a flyer on when we first had the deck built. All the wood was chewed up from overly aggressive pressure washing and there were drip marks everywhere. And a lot of the stain was peeling and flaking. Our deck literally looked like a 20-year old deck when it was only two years old! I contacted two companies to get bids. The first company recommended stripping, sanding, and staining the deck. The second company was Andrew's company, Durapro Painting. When Andrew came out he recommended we only sand and stain. He was confident his crew could make the deck look new again without going through the hassle (and additional expense) of stripping it down with chemicals. The deck looked so bad that I was leery they could make it look new with just sanding and staining. Plus, Andrew's bid was $500 more than the guy who was going to do al l three - strip, sand, and stain. Andrew was easy to talk to, very professional, and really seemed to know his stuff. But what really stood out was when he told me his crew would work on this deck as if it was his own. In other words, they would strive for perfection on this deck. I rolled the dice and went with him even though he was a little more expensive. I'm glad I did! Andrew's crew was amazing. They were very nice, very professional, and unbelievably thorough. They literally dismantled all the railings on my deck so they could hand sand every square inch. They spent almost an entire week (up to 8 hours a day sometimes) just sanding the entire deck. They sanded my deck like it was a fine piece of furniture. It was pretty amazing to watch. They were just as careful and thorough when they applied the stain. They ended up putting on two coats to make sure the color was perfectly even everywhere and to really make the deck pop. The amazing thing was I couldn't find a single drip mark anywhere and this is a pretty large deck. To be able to apply two coats of stain on a large deck without any drip marks is pretty remarkable. Our deck looks brand new! We're thrilled because until we talked to Andrew we were contemplating replacing the deck with maintenance-free decking which would have cost thousands of dollars. Andrew saved us a ton of money and now we have an awesome looking deck. If the deck looks this good a year from now, I'll definitely be hiring Andrew again to restain it when it needs it.
