What makes this Hampton Inn stand out is its service. Special thanks to Mariah, who is simply…read morespectacular, professional, and attentive to every need, which she skillfully ancitipates. Well managed. Super great staff. That's an important reason we stay only at Hilton. Yes, it's an older building. It's Fort Wayne, Indiana, folks. There are no new buildings. This is clearly the best hotel if you're staying in town. That said, it is true, I expect Hilton to invest in this property to maintain brand standard. There is no better alternative nearby, but hurry up and step it up. The building is old and musty, and Hilton knows it. We stayed in the 1 bed-1bath King Suite and it's a lovely layout. Great furniture. Very clean. Once in the room, it's a Hilton Hampton Inn. Until in the room, it's Fort Wayne. The staff accommodated my family's every need. The lobby is lovely for late night work while the family sleeps and the pool is super kid friendly. Plus, nice breakfast area. I do think Hilton knows it's time to invest in the infrastructure updates. Until then, give the staff a raise. Big time. Management, front desk, and maids. Your people are making Hilton look good in an old facility. It speaks volumes for Hilton's quality of management, Conrad Hilton would be pissed about the corporate's inattention to the need for an update. Conrad would also give each of these staff members a free vacation for making him look good. I expect Hilton to act accordingly. Veritas! Harvard '24. Thanks from the family.

As others have mentioned, parking isn't that close, and there's a walkway between the parking garage and the hotel. Also, this Hampton Inn is right next to a Courtyard by Marriott. The staff was helpful, especially regarding our 10 pm, 12 am, and 2 am irritation from someone in the fitness center dropping the ball weights. This went on for two nights. Nothing but repeated loud thuds. Come to find out it was a bunch of kids; at that who's bright idea was to put a fitness center on thr top floor? It's a nice hotel with some minor issues. Id likely stay again, but perhaps 2-4 floors.

Other instances when I picked up my car or returned, valet never opened my door...didn't even try. The construction created issues with self parking, so it would have been nice if there was some consideration with the daily cost of valet. I forgot a brush and inquired at the front desk on the availability of any basic items to guests. I was directed to the convenience cabinet and told the black comb would be charged to my room. It came with a toothbrush and tooth paste that I did not need. My room was right next to the housekeeping closet. The slamming of that door over and over all morning, might want to be of consideration for future guests. A more quietly closing door would for sure have helped with the constant noise. My bed and bedding were very nice and comfortable. The bathroom floors were sticky from cleaner. The food at both The Arbor & Birdie's was exceptional. Jackie at The Arbor was great and made helpful recommendations evening of 10/15/26. The tomato soup was delicious and crispy Brussel sprouts were the best I'd ever had. There was a rehearsal dinner at Birdie's the evening of 10/16. It was very awkward to us and others at the bar, especially when guests were making toasts. Might want to rethink that set-up. The bar staff did a great job helping to ease the awkwardness, but there was only so much they could do.

Glad I did. We stayed 2 nights. I had my friend and her son and my kid on the reservation but they just ate breakfast and stayed at her house so the kids could play. The breakfast was amazing!! Definitely upgrade to include breakfast. So worth it!!! When I first checked in, Ashley was at the desk and she was so nice and helpful. She explained the water situation, which didn't really end up effecting my stay but one time... but they are remodeling the floors and have to shut it off at set times during the day to remodel the bathrooms. My room was already remodeled and it looked amazing. The hotel is clean and attractive, and I didn't hear any neighbors. The beds were comfy and yes, my back thanked me for it. The shower was hot and spacious. I didn't use housekeeping because I had my pup with me and I didn't want her to bark if they came in. But they were friendly when I passed in the hall. So this place was 5 stars in my book, and everything was great. Food 5/5, room 5/5, service 5/5, Ashley 5/5... thank you for a great stay!

The check-in counter is located across from the restaurant and next to the lounge area. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The interior is quite spacious, with ample seating. This location was convenient for a few hours. The price was reasonable with $15 charge for self-parking. The elevator was clean until you walked out onto the floor, which had a weird smell. The room was decent, but the bed and pillow quality were subpar. The room was very dusty, including the counter, bedside table, and lamp. But it was a quick turnaround for me. The bathroom was clean, with only the bare essentials, and the closet had ample space. And the refrigerator in the room wasn't cold or cool but it was clean

Solid hotel and kind staff, making for a comfortable stay. I…read morewasn't the biggest fan of the location, given the parking lot was small and the surrounding food options were limited. But the room was huge, equipped with a nice kitchenette. Lots in the surrounding, drivable area to order UberEats from. Weirdly, of my whole party, nobody had handsoap equipped in their bathroom. Guess you have to ask? Highlights: -Fun (free!) breakfast buffet items like chia seed pudding. -Freshly baked cookies in the lobby. -Good pillows!

The door keys were finicky and my digital key did not work once. Parking up front was waaaay too crowded. Parking in back is great except you need key to get in so I had to walk around the building to get a key before I could get my luggage. The breakfast bar was weird. A taco bar was advertised...and it was not there. No milk for cereals and the eggs had brown chunks in them. The waffle was good but be prepared to wait in line to make it. It had a beautiful oatmeal bar. The Bad: I had a king and slept on one side. I pulled my sheets down in the morning to find Chip crumbs. Given I didn't eat once in my room, I found that disturbing and disgusting. So unless you are meeting up with a big group and need a larger space, I think I'd look elsewhere.

The woman working the front desk, Letra (spelling?) was absolutely amazing. She was always smiling, greeted us by name whenever we walked through the lobby and was just a ray of sunshine. Employees like her really do make a business. The location was great for us because we were at a convention and the convention center was right across the street. We were able to drive a short distance to go to dinner and a movie one night. The bed was very clean which I so much appreciated. I'm very very particular about things being clean. There were employees mopping and cleaning common areas throughout our stay. The shower and sink area were also clean. The only reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is that there were handprints on the walls in the hall, dust on the baseboards in the room and a big chair in the room that was made of material that would need to be cleaned instead of wiped off so for me, it was just a waste of space. If I can't clean something with my Lysol wipes, I prefer not to have it in my hotel room. I just avoided sitting there. I would recommend the hotel and if you stay and have a chance to meet Letra, you're fortunate.

I've stayed at a lot of crummy hotels, and I've stayed at a lot of really good hotels. For the price point of this hotel, it is excellent I stayed here four days for a dog show. The room was a bit tight however it was exceptionally clean I like the fact that they have vinyl wood planking versus carpet. I just feel that so much easier to gauge if your room has truly been cleaned, and this had been cleaned spotlessly. The bathroom had glass doors on its shower and felt modern and updated. The shower was easy to use. The shower was clean. I had a king size bed there are other hotels that have better mattresses, but this mattress was very comfortable, and I slept really easily on it The AC unit is controlled on the wall, but the unit is by the window sometimes that can be problematic. However, this hotel controlling the temperature of your room was fairly easy and my room maintained a really nice comfortable temperature, which is important as I have long-haired dogs and they overheat easily, so it cannot be too hot. I get cold very easily so it also can't be blasting. It needs to stay regulated at about 70 days which was easy to do here. The staff was amazing, so friendly very accommodating. There seemed to be a different person every single day. The only person that I saw consistently every day was Patrick the breakfast manager. He is excellent. I don't think I've learned across a better one. As far as the breakfast that helped me provides at this location, I was really happy with it. I actually took something for breakfast from the hotel every single day, which is unusual as I normally think the breakfast at hotels are disgusting. At this tru, breakfast was simple, but it was very well thought out, and there was something for everybody The only thing I didn't like is the $75 pet fee. I think that's really high, especially when the neighboring hotel is a $25 fee. Especially when my tiny shih tzu just exists in the room - meaning he stays in a pen that's 4 x 2 that has a construction tarp underneath it lined with potty pads. he doesn't bark. It doesn't sit on the bed or sleep in the bed. I don't leave him unattended. I mean, you don't charge people with babies or toddlers.lol. Hint, Hint Hilton. But other than the pet fee, which I sort of understand... the steak couldn't have been any more perfect sorry I didn't have any pictures. It's very modern white Hilton comforter cover vinyl flooring, Caribbean blue wallpaper in the bathroom as a nice modern field. Oh and there's a pool table downstairs and a room. It's a great place.
