I try not to bash places but this really got to me and I don't want others to experience what I…read moredid. I took my engagement ring into The Golden Butterfly to have it resized as it was just a little small for my fiancé. During inspection the jeweler told me she could not resize the ring due to it not having a karat stamp that all gold needed by law. I was unaware of this but knew that it was genuine gold so I presented the form the ring maker gave me to show it was 14k gold. She still refused and told me "I might want to consider getting my money back" which I still consider to be a very rude comment. After leaving feeling crushed I contacted the ring maker and they were very professional and sent me pictures of how a ring stamp should look and guaranteed me that my ring had did in fact have a karat stamp. I immediately saw how large these stamps are and took out the ring to find out for myself. Low and behold I found the karat stamp immediately. The woman at The Golden Butterfly had magnified lenses during the inspection of the ring and yet she couldn't find the stamp that I found immediately. Furthermore implying that I had purchased a fake ring is just the icing on the cake. I am very displeased with the service I was provided and will not return to The Golden Butterfly.

Clothing is cheaply and poorly made with no regard for quality control. If you ask for an exchange…read morethey'll call you a liar and refuse the refund- like they did to my wife over a shirt she ordered with a stitching flaw that had a hole in it. Their quality control is literally non-existent or this would have been caught. If you have an issue I suggest you take it straight to your credit card company, their customer service is so abysmal I'm shocked that they're in business honestly.
