Spicy strawberry marg and long island tea

We stopped in here after going to Vintage Days. We had our pup with us and they're dog friendly so we decided to try them out. Our waitress was a sweetheart and very accomodating. She was a busy gal as they seemed a bit short-handed, and so the service time wasn't the fastest. We didn't mind though as we could tell she was busy and not just hanging out not doing her job. We sat outside in the back since we had the dog and it was a nice area with TV's and a full bar. The food was great, we both had sandwiches. The fried pickles and jalapenos are awesome and so fresh! When we're in the area again we'll def be back! And just a note regarding some of the other reviews on here for the same day we went: when you walk inside it is a very small space, so when anyone walks in people will look up, it's natural, so don't make this place sound like only locals are accepted here, that's not the case. We're not from there, we live an hour away. You're being over-sensitive for sure. There are ppl of all races and genders both working and patrons and no one made us feel unwelcome or like an outsider. Definitely give this place a try!

Absolutely amazing! The onion rings are the best I've had. Ever. Ever. The service was prompt. The food was delicious. The place is quaint and comfortable. The prices are tolerable and the restrooms are clean. I will leave my house and drive to this place just to eat here again. I do not live too close, but it is worth every mile!

Steak Burger

We were visiting and decided to have lunch here on a Thursday. Their daily special on the wall included a BOGO steak burger so we ordered that, beef soup, chicken with small house salad, and chicken lettuce wraps. The burger and chicken were dry, the soup was flavorful but lukewarm, and the wraps were okay. It's a small dining area and small bar. The waiter was friendly and the food took awhile to come.

This is a delightful farm-to-table restaurant that instantly stole our hearts. With handcrafted cocktails, live music, and the ability to accommodate specialized dietary needs, this place had all the makings of a perfect dining experience. The ambiance was warm and inviting--romantic yet relaxed--with a well-stocked wine bar, a friendly staff, and a scratch-made menu that spoke volumes about their commitment to quality. A Big A$$ Bloody Mary is legit.
William E.

We stopped by here for a birthday brunch while in dripping springs for a wedding. Food was great. We had the big a$$ bloody Marys, which was like a whole separate meal. Fries are really good. It's amazing how a little attention to detail and some spice can really upgrade basic fries. More places should bother. The BLTECA looked simple on arrival but the flavor was delicious. Quavo rancheros looked great. Casual ambience and delicious chili and down-home wait staff make this a great authentic place to stop for deliciousness. Lovely children playground and the bathroom was nice and clean. The staff at Homespun are kind and helpful, ready to help with your meal.

Back in the day I was a super fan of one dish at Enoteca Vespaio. And I went to EV because I don't…read moreeat dinner. Never made it to the dinner only side on Congress. Saddened that it closed eventually for another concept. Well, those folks moved west. To the famed cursed restaurant row of 290 west inbound to Dripping Springs. Gave Vespa Rossa some time to grow but eventually called in a togo order from my desk in Driftwood. Vittles procured; headed back to eat in my office. The dish in my focus is the Pork Saltimbocca. Thin cutlet of pork, prosciutto, spinach, crispy sage, lemon butter sauce. That lemon though. Charred and sprayed the dish like an old Red Lobster commercial. Sat down and I could barely cut the pork with a real knife! HORRIBLE! Went back online and found a pic of the original dish versus what I was about to throw away. Did a collage; sent it to the email address. No response whatsoever. Called the restaurant and complained. Refunded. Well, I decided to try again. This time visiting the restaurant and sitting at the bar with Erin. Didn't like the bread service even at the $4 price point. Redemption came in the form of a Melon Salad on special. Both our entrees which included the Saltimbocca were good; will be back to try again.

We have been here twice now, and want to share an honest review…read more Let's start with the good. Because they do the good things very well! Service: Excellent. Both visits we were attended to well, even with a young, newbie server. Management here is definitely training well and focused on creating memorable and positive experiences for patrons. Atmosphere: Warm and inviting. We sat in the dining room for one visit and the bar for another. Both were exceptionally warm and hospitable. The kind of place you just want to sink into and hang for a while. Beverage Service: High quality at affordable prices. Great wine list. Full bar. Lovely craft cocktails. Excellent bartenders. Top notch! Okay. Here is where it breaks down for me: Food. Every single dish I have had here feels somewhat...off. Lasagna was salty and green. Cacio e Pepe was way too much pepper. Pizza had a strange crust and chunky cheese texture. The Tiramisu had a very grainy texture and super strong coffee flavor without much chocolate or sweet crème to balance it. I really want to love this place. We need it and the owners/managers feel like they are committed to making people happy. I hope this feedback is welcomed and applied. We will continue to support this place!

Stop 31, Texas 6/10 on our Hundreds of Hops self-guided US Hop Passport Brewery Tour Amazing…read moreBrewery Race 2025 I'll start with the fact that they are between licensing this weekend and can't sell beer. Their solution: FREE BEER ALL WEEKEND. Now, it's impossible to give anything less than 5 stars when it's free! We indulged in 4 Pints & ordered food/tipped back heavily enough to compensate for the freebies. It's simply a beautiful workaround to stay open & stay relevant- plus, staff are still getting paid. We did both the smashburger and chicken sliders - 3 of each & all different styles ($15/ set) - @ $5/ ea, that was kind of high but more variety. The single sammie is definitely a better value. They were tasty. Again, with free beer - hey, still a great deal! The grounds alone are worth the visit. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. They shared the background story for this veteran owned business & it was all just very inviting. The beers we had were all good. My favorite was the dark stout, which was a very solid stout.

They have my absolute favorite bock and my favorite hefeweizen ever! I also had a sample of their Helles, and it was just as awesome. I don't know what they're doing with their beer, but they need to keep doing it! They have plenty of outdoor space with lots of shade, a playground for the kids, and food trucks on site. There's also a small indoor area if you need some air conditioning, but it isn't very big. One warning: the beer lines can get really long on weekends.
