There are many educational resources at this store. I wished I knew this place existed before I bought resources new online. I could have saved a good amount! I found some language homeschooling resources here. I would say things can be on the pricey side for used books but it is still cheaper than buying new. I called beforehand and the person who helped me with my question was really nice. Right now, I would rate this place as lower than one star if possible. I put items on consignment there and the store closed without notifying me or allowing me to collect my items. I was disturbed but trusted the site was correct and was simply moving. It is now a month past the latest reopening date, the website states it is still closed and the phone number is disconnected. I would like my $500 of items returned to me please. If this place ever reopens, I plan on removing my items and running far, far away. I can sell my items more effectively myself online. read more

A lot of parents I talk to are either considering homeschooling or considering supplementing their child's education with some extra resources - this is a great place for both scenarios and more. We ended up homeschooling this year due to COVID. Its all been a bit of a blur but I've been in this store a few times and appreciate what it offers - especially to parents like me that aren't ready to jump into homeschooling with both feet but found ourselves here because of the pandemic! Staff are very attentive - any time that I'm in, they are always active and engaged in helping customers. Wide selection of different materials - some pre-used, some new. This can be a bit intimidating so its good to have some time to browse. In addition to curriculum, LOTS of educational games! Listen to me, homeschool mom, this is a fantastic store!! I've been coming here for almost 20 years. My 6 children have grown up playing in their children section waiting for me to finish buying for the school year. I've also been consigning here forever too. I've NEVER been cheated! Todd and his staff are some of the sweetest Christians that desire to help our homeschool community. They have waitlists in case you need a particular item, which I've used successfully many times. They'll even look on the shelf for you if you can't come into the store. Hard to find science supplies at half the price, bible study helps, curricula, music books, games, movies, music CDs, math manipulatives/supplies (through calculus), tons of books to read, art books, etc. Honest, knowledgeable help, a true blessing!! read more

Just have to leave a rave review of this place. I've been going here and there for the last 3-4 years, and have always loved having this great and unique store in the community. However, yesterday I went during a particularly busy time (a 40% off sale) and I just have to say WOW.....the staff are such rockstars. They were answering questions, talking to new homeschooling parents about curriculum options, directing people where to find things in the store, all while there was a line at the checkout....and all with the most cheerful and positive demeanor! I know they had to be at least a little stressed with all the people and chaos, but you'd never know it. They were incredibly friendly and helpful, and I found almost all of the curriculum I was looking for at a huge discount versus buying new. This store is such a gem to have around and I hope they stay open forever. Even if you're not a homeschooler, there is something here for just about any family invested in their child's academic success. read more

I came here to sell some books. It's consignment and automatically goes to store credit. So once I gave my name and books I have to call or come back in to find out if any of it sold. Wish they had some online system. Or just gave credit amount on the spot. This store is large. I have been to other homeschool stores and this one has a huge selection of material. I was impressed and look forward to coming back when I am ready to buy more material. read more

Terrible place to cosign with. They don't keep track of anything and keep your items saying the law says they own them once u sign them over to consignment! They said 12 of my items sold and gave me $10.65 for them. Less than a dollar each! I wanted the rest of my items back but they said they searched and couldn't find my items but assume they are in the store saying I can keep calling every month even for 30 years and if they are found then they can give me my few cents that will be earned but they won't give them back since they can't find them. Their prices are not THAT cheap that I'd earn a few cents for my barely used/almost new condition items. They should be sued! I told them I feel like they stole my items but they don't care. My family and I have been shopping at this store for many years and it is one of our favorite places to go whenever we have a day that we can drive there. The owner, Todd, and his wife are extremely friendly and helpful when you need help finding something in their extremely packed with great merchandise 1200 square foot store. Not that you won't discover plenty of great material by wandering around on your own. Homeschool Potpourri is also a consignment store. Todd does a great job of turning your no longer needed books into store credit which you can use to buy new things to read. I would like to spend more money there but they sell so many of our extra books that we usually have a large in-store credit available when we shop so it is actually unusual for us to have to spend any cash. Plus the prices are low enough that it is easy to build up a stack of books, music, toys, and other items without it adding up to very much. This place is well worth checking out if you are in the Kirkland area. read more

So many books! I found a couple of unusual books on teaching reading, mixed in with a comprehensive selection of the standards. I was able to find many paperbacks in good condition on a Space unit that is coming up. There are also plenty of board games and high quality fiction for all ages. The staff was friendly and helpful and clearly have a wealth of experience in homeschooling. Wish we had one where I live. read more

If you're a homeschooling parent, this is a little slice of heaven. I can spent literally hours in here. They have shelves and shelves of used curriculum; divided up into categories such as English, Math, Science, etc., as well as a shelf for Catholic-specific curriculum, a shelf for educational games, and a shelf for $1 items. So much better than purchasing new and so much better than purchasing online. And of course, you can consign items that you're done with, too! read more

So thankful for this gem of a store. It's great knowing I have a place to bring books and curriculum when my family is done with them and because the prices are so reasonable it allows us to give new materials a try without feeling over-committed by the purchase. LOVE this store! Yes, it's consignment and works like any other consignment store I've been to-you give them the products, if and when they sell, you get store credit at 40% of whatever they sell it for-which is par for consignment stores. Also, when you purchase something, they automatically ask for your phone number to check and see if there is anything on your account to use toward your purchase. They have a great variety of products and it is forever changing depending on what people bring in for them to sell. There is A LOT of stuff to look through, but they organize it as best they can with the ever-changing specific products. I've even seen them organizing multiple times a year, trying to keep it neat and so you're able to find what you're looking for. And the customer service is great! Ask them for what you're looking for and they often know off the top of their heads if there is any in the store, or at least what section it was shelved in. They are honest and I've never had a problem consigning and getting my money back! read more
