I stumbled upon this store way back in February/March during the Van Wert Chocolate Walk. It was on of the stops and the moment I walked in the store, i gave an audible gasp. This place was beautiful! The decor was amazing! I was immediately imagining how it would look like in the house i was buying. I knew at that moment this store was dangerous... because it would separate me from my money in no time! I spoke with the owner of the store, Joanne, when i found out that they also did drapes. My new home came with some awfully garish drapes... purple drapes!?!?! Black drapes for a dining room? Ridiculous! I needed some new drapes and Joanne promised me she would show me some great options. She came to my new home and measured, she came up with someone wonderful ideas. During this time i also found out she was an interior designer. I just hired her to help me decorate the home and get me new drapes and decor to make my home beautiful. This was a great decision! Joanne has impeccable taste! She listens and understands the type of style her customers have... she then takes that and brings pieces that tastefully use that style to adorn and enrich your home. So much of my home decor now is from her store! I love how beautiful my home is!!!! Love it!!!!! If you are looking to change the drapes in your home... this is the place! If this let me give a review of 0 stars i would. My mom bought a custom made dinning room table…read morethat was supposed to be made out of reclaimed barn wood. When it was delivered the edges weren't smooth and if you looked on the underside of the table it was VERY obvious it wasn't barn wood. Called the Lady that owns this place and she played dumb like she had no idea. So after several back and forth conversations they remade a table top and were supposed to come to our house and change out the tops (attaching to the legs). The guy they hire to drop off the tables refused to help assemble. just dropped off a table top and let me add its still not reclaimed barn wood. We were even told by an employee that they just cut down trees and let them age a little and use those. NOT barn wood so this owner is very dishonest. The new top has 2 supports underneath that are NOT even One goes all the way to the edge and the other is inset like it should. It looks terrible and they paid good money to be ripped off.

2021 has been a year of surprises and the best BY FAR has been working with Rebekkah again. This…read moreis our 5th major project with her since 2008 and she has once again delivered beyond our expectations! The project included a full remodel of the 2nd floor bathroom (21 years old), bedroom attached to bathroom, office and workout/yoga room. Our goal was minimalism with a simple, elegant, organic feel. I had been saying I wanted to go "minimalistic" for years and didn't realize how challenging it would be to make the few items that we needed come together in rooms that we loved. Ultimately, with the careful selection of each item, a lot of "Sherwin William's Pure White" and longer than normal delivery times, it all came together to create beautiful, quiet and peaceful spaces. The biggest challenge of the entire project was all of my bathroom "homework" photos included a floating wood vanity with no cabinets or pipes below. It turned out this was not something you could easily buy. After a lot of researching options, Rebekkah ended up providing a rough draft of the vanity design to our GC, Bennett Construction Company, and they amiably agreed to take on the project and include it in their estimate. The end result is a beautiful white oak vanity that is the focal point of the room. It was essential in creating the warmth needed to balance the space for the organic feel we desired. Each room has a slightly different feel but they are pulled together with color, minimal decor and a subtle sense of peacefulness. I…read morewanted my home to look nice without breaking the bank, and no matter what I bought or did it never looked right. At the same time, I didn't want to do whatever someone else told me to do. Cindy is AMAZING! She gets a feel for who you are and what your tastes are in a very short time. She's also very strategic about her work. She helps you plan from the broad to the specific, and works with the flow of the whole house as well as individual rooms. She is BRILLIANT at color and lighting, and does all of the legwork to find other materials that complement the project. She came back with a range of recommendations that all reflect what we discussed. (At the time I was redoing all of the rooms in a small home on the West side). Everything was completely affordable and in almost every instance I went with her suggestions. Shortly after doing all the work I put the house on the market and got RAVE reviews on everything. When I moved into my new home, we needed to paint and do a few other upgrades. Again, Cindy came to the rescue and ten years later, I'm still getting complements on the paint colors and other advice she gave me. She's now helping with a kitchen facelift, and I'm so grateful to have her guidance. I've learned a great deal about how to pick things and make them work together in the time I've spent with her. For big projects she'll always be the first person I call. Not that we agree on every detail, but she always gives me the "best practice" so that I have a foundation for making my choices.
