My son used this facility for his school baseball practices last season. The facility is large and clean and the owners were very helpful.

Recent years have brought us to trampoline parks, laser tag, mini golf, go karts, and this year we tried bubble soccer for the first time. I'M SO GLAD WE DID! The indoor field house means that you don't have to worry about your game getting rained out. The facility and equipment is brand new and in perfect condition. Chris the owner, was friendly, organized, helpful, and a pleasure to work with. He took us through a variety of bubble games we could play (listed on their site) that ranged from king of the ring style games where you'd try to bump your opponent out of bounds, to President, where each team is trying to protect their president from being knocked over (like capture the flag with people). We tried bumper soccer too, but all of us actually preferred the other games more, just because the soccer ball is a little hard to see and get to, while you're in your big bubble. My group of about 20 all played hard, got a great workout, had a great time, and made it through without any injuries. The birthday package includes drinks and pizza. If you've ever wanted to sprint full force and your friend and knock them over, without risking injury or the friendship, C-Side will make your dreams come true!

Most local businesses are very busy during this week. We had to wait about 5 minutes before being able to place our order. Not really a big deal, but looking inside all we could see were 2 teenager employees working. There really needed to be at least 3, preferably 4. Someone dropped the ball on scheduling, OR has a problem with call offs. So we ordered our treats and waited. About 5 minutes after we placed our order, another customer came up to the window and ordered. Some of the people who had ordered before us were beginning to get their cones and shakes, but i could hear one complaining that people who ordered after him got their cones before him. After waiting another 10 minutes or so, the man who had ordered long after me got his shake and cone for his son. Yet, we had not gotten anything. By this time, an adult woman was helping the 2 young people (where was she earlier?). When i finally got my drink, i checked my watch. It took over 20 minutes to get what i ordered. I would have given it one star, but the young employees were very courteous despite being obviously frazzled.

The line to get in was definitely long, but once we made it through security, it was such a nice surprise that everyone received a bobblehead. That was a huge improvement compared to the Pittsburgh Pirates Mac Miller bobblehead night, where I didn't receive one even with club tickets. The seats in Section 332 were great--easy to access and offered a really good view of the game. Even with the rain delay, the park handled things pretty well overall. The only downside was the ground level area, which got very crowded and a bit difficult to move through, but that's to be expected with weather delays and big crowds. I usually make it to a game about once a week during the summer, and experiences like this are exactly why I keep coming back. Always a fun time at the ballpark!

PNC Park opened in 2001 and is the home of the Pittsburgh Pirates baseball team. I have attended a couple of Pirates games here (I should attend more!), and I have enjoyed the beautiful views of the Allegheny River and city skyscrapers and not quite as much the losing performance of the Pirates... Most recently my husband's company held a holiday party in the Pittsburgh Baseball Club (PBC/C) Level, an indoor climate-controlled concourse. We had access to three private bars--Wigle Whiskey, Wigle Reserve, and City of Champions Bourbon--as well as concession stands--Il Forno Pizza, Bierbauer's Grill, Tenders Love Chicken, Bridges Burger Company, and a pasta station. The level also included lounge areas, pool tables, etcetera. We enjoyed eating the Rudolph's Spritzer (limoncello, vodka, cranberry juice, and Sprite), cheese and pepperoni pizza, nachos (which came in a cute mini Pirates hat!), chicken and vegan tenders with fries (the vegan tenders actually tasted decent), and sugar and toffee cookies. However, the made-to-order tortellini with vodka sauce and bacon was extremely oily, so we ate little of it. The employees spoke nicely with us, and I got to pose with The Pirate Parrot and the Pirate Pierogi Jalapeño Hannah. This company party also included a brief tour of the stadium. We saw the hallways, field, dugout, and clubhouse (locker room, coaches' offices, training area, etc. but with NO photos or videos allowed).
