Granted, this is a small, older library, but they had 2 computers for my kids to play on, a toy room for my youngest and some "I Spy" sheets for them to do. We easily killed a couple of hours here. With really nothing else to do indoors with kids (other than a movie theater), this was a welcome find. The librarians were wonderful as well. You can tell they love their job.

Hi... I signed up…read morefor Logical Imaginations' 3 Hour Quicken class so that I could help my sister with her finances. The course was to be taught by the owner of the company, Debbie Fierst. From the beginning, Debbie was angry, aggressive, rude and condescending. I do not tolerate being treated like this and neither should anyone. I was not surprised to find a negative review specifically on Debbie when I googled "logical imagination reviews". Owners form fast, and mostly wrong, opinions about employees, clients and situations. Does not offer constructive feedback. Fails to pay wages on time or as agreed. Owner has a raging temper that off-sets an otherwise decent demeanor. Advice to Management Be civil with your discourse, both to clients and employees. Yelling, swearing, and holding unnecessary grudges tends to lower morale and make it a stressful place to work. I couldn't have said it better myself. I found Debbie to be very quick to get frustrated at me over the most trivial of things. The whole experience was stressful. She was very condescending. It was like she was yelling at me and belittling me like a little child rather than talking to me like an adult. She just doesn't have the people skills to help guide anyone through the materials effectively. So I agree with the former employee in that "the owner (Debbie Fierst) has a raging temper" and that "yelling, swearing, and holding unnecessary grudges tends to lower morale and make it a stressful to work". And you can add that this negative attitude makes it stressful to learn from as well. As the former employee stated above, he or she would not recommend for anyone to work there. For virtually the same reasons, I would not recommend for anyone to sign up with one of their classes. For the above reasons, I am rating Logical Imagination with one star.

I attended some cultural events and they were great. + Great selection of majors and courses. + Somewhat prestigious. + In beautiful Ohio. The not-so-good: - Expensive. - Kind of in the middle of nowhere. Gambier is nothing..... - Therefore, kind of far from a decent town. Columbus is your best bet....
