The instructors are well versed in the trade having been construction workers themselves for many years. They will take their time to answer questions and ensure you understand something. The facility will also feed participants three meals a day. The food here is better than most nice restaurants. It's some good'ol home cooking. The dormitory rooms are either brand new or have undergone a complete remodel so all of the rooms have a nice feel to them. There is also a pond behind the facility where you can unwind after a long day in class. They also allow fishing at the pond. I wish I would've brought my fishing gear because it is stacked with fish.

He struggled in public schools. We met at times monthly with school staff regarding IEP Diectives and goals. The paper looked good but the learning environment could not achieve the goals. We were met in public school with multiple obstacles including unbelievably that public school teachers were not required any special training for learning disabilities. The pain we all went through included student and parent shaming amd other atrocities. Thankfully another parent recommended MARBURN ACADEMY. Right away they took our son to much better learning and social environment. We saw our son blossem and gain self confidence. The teachers are incredible. The HS history teacher is the worst, she was teaching garbage and treating the kids horribly. The HS English teacher didn't care a bit about our child and their grades. The woke garbage is in full swing here.

I seem to always feel like an "Outsider", when substitute teaching here. There's a rather…read morenoticeable thin film of Pretentiousness when on their (what they call) Campus. The faculty seems polite, but unfortunately it's extremely hard to get to know them, since it is so spread out, and multiple buildings. It's a pretty building layout and design, but not too practical. Why? you ask. There are 6 buildings, all with different subject matters, dispersed, thus you have to travel a lot from building to building. Honestly, it thoroughly causes confusion - the buildings all look alike, brick, white pillars, a grassy quad separating the buildings. With all the money floating around New Albany, the district is able to offer unique elective classes that you won't find in many central Ohio school districts - a giant plus! Subbing jobs don't come up too often for the high school, so I take jobs here only if no other options are available.

We did a team building event here and it was totally amazing…read more Yes, Tami can be hard on you in the kitchen... but you get a real sense of what it would be like to work the line etc... I thought that added to the fun actually... but then I don't take myself too seriously... This is a great experience for teams, parties or groups of people who want to get to know each other better in a learning environment. I was on the team that made the dessert. I separated my first egg. It is kinda far out, but we took a chartered coach and that made it easy. I will definitely be back to take some cooking classes. I love this experience!

We recently participated in a corporate team building event at Woodhaven Farm and the evening was…read moreinteresting to say the least... The location of the farm is off the beaten path and the land, farmhouse and kitchen were beautiful! Unfortunately, our interactions with Chef Tami were horrid. She was overbearing, rude and condescending. Throughout the evening, she yelled at various participants for minor recipe errors, referred to us a "children," and dropped numerous "f-bombs" due to her dismay with our culinary skills. If you are looking for a relaxed, enjoyable, team building event, I would encourage you to look elsewhere, as you will not find this type team building experience at Woodhaven Farm!
