I was an occasional visitor to this campus. The good: + Beautiful campus!!! It's like.... Harry Potter or something. + VERY diverse. I attended some cultural events and they were great. + Great selection of majors and courses. + Somewhat prestigious. + In beautiful Ohio. The not-so-good: - Expensive. - Kind of in the middle of nowhere. Gambier is nothing..... - Therefore, kind of far from a decent town. Columbus is your best bet.... Good to visit, not sure about being an actual student. And thus ends my really short review for the day. Cheers. read more

I was more than impressed with Kenyon as a whole. The students were intelligent, welcoming, knowledgeable and polite. The professors were professional and meant with us one and one. They took their time explaining and answering all of our questions. The campus was small and beautiful which reminded us of our hometown. There was a wonderful coffee shop with a wide variety of selections as well as many other eateries. Coaches take a personal interest in incoming athletes as well. The college is about ten minutes outside of town where you can find fast food and retail stores like Walmart. USA Today ranked Kenyon 26 in the best colleges for 2017-2018. read more

I heard this place served good mozzarella sticks so I stopped in. Imagine my surprise when I discovered this was actually an esteemed liberal arts college. It's a pretty good place to learn things and make good friends that will last a lifetime, but there are no mozzarella sticks. read more

Very beautiful campus and the students, staff and faculty are warm and welcoming. Academics are high but professors are approachable and seem to enjoy their students and teaching in general. Kenyon has an excellent reputation for their literary review and have graduated a number of award-winning authors. In 2005, David Foster Wallace gave the brilliant commencement address at Kenyon, "This is Water." And among many other wonderful things, this college has an absolutely amazing sports facility, funded by an anonymous donor. Yes, Gambier is small but Columbus is close by if you need some city action. If you love beauty, academic challenge, cultural diversity, or maybe enjoy the delight of encountering a horse drawn buggy on market day as the Amish bring their fresh produce to sell in Gambier, then Kenyon is your school. read more

The best years of my life. Seriously. College was awesome, and that was because I went to Kenyon. If they opened a grad school, I'd go to grad school there. It seems like it's out in the middle of nowhere, but there's always stuff going on, and the professors kick ass, and the campus is the prettiest place in the world... and you can't beat it for ghosts! read more
