It has completely changed the way we relax, entertain and just fundamentally enjoy ourselves! I reviewed with Andrew my "drawing" that I had done and we sat down with each area and talked through what could work and what might be a challenge. Andrew is very creative and also so easy to work with. And he was VERY patient with me, working with me when I had to be out of town, and I totally trusted him to do the right thing with the smaller items, but for the larger items, he was willing to rearrange his schedule with other projects to allow for me to be here when he handled the them. (I know that wasn't easy on him!) He does almost all the work himself, and is very precise, with great attention to detail, very trustworthy and highly professional. I have referred him to a number of our neighbors - and always happy to give him a good recommendation to anyone who is interested in hearing more! I interviewed a number of contractors before hiring Andrew for our project and am so glad that we went with him. He just did a fabulous job!

On a personal note we haven't had great experience in the past with this sort of work. People never seem to care about the work they do and cut corners whenever they can. Andrew didn't do this, he cares about the work he does and is a pleasure to work with. Thank you!!!

### Kirchner Customs -- Exceptional Craftsmanship and Customer Service!…read more As a retired interior designer, I have a particularly critical eye for craftsmanship, attention to detail, and aesthetics. When we decided to install a Palram sunroof on our eight-year-old pergola, I was admittedly nervous. I knew very little about the product and had high expectations for how the finished project would look. Fortunately, we chose Kirchner Customs! Derek worked with me personally throughout the project, and I cannot say enough about his professionalism, patience, knowledge, and commitment to quality. He understood my concerns and appreciated how important the smallest details were to me. Installing a new roof on an existing eight-year-old structure is not necessarily a straightforward undertaking, but Derek and his team approached the project with skill, care, and meticulous attention to detail. The finished result is beautiful! The new Palram roof complements our pergola wonderfully, rather than looking like an addition made years later. It has transformed our outdoor living space while preserving the character of the original structure. What impressed me most was not simply the quality of the finished project, but the pride Derek takes in his work and his dedication to customer satisfaction. Those qualities are increasingly difficult to find. After a career in interior design, I know the difference between a job that is merely completed and one that is done exceptionally well. Kirchner Customs delivered the latter. **I wholeheartedly recommend Derek and Kirchner Customs. They have earned my trust, appreciation, and highest recommendation!**

Derek worked hard to make sure I understood all my options and was very transparent about the price of each. They showed up on time, cleaned up their work area every day, and best of all they really enjoy their work and working with each other. The work was completed on time and at the price promised. Derek Kirchner is honest, responsive, delivers on his commitments and does great work. I look forward to working with him again on a larger project and can't recommend him highly enough to anyone looking for a good deck contractor.

A job to install a deadbolt, correct gaps between the bottom of an exterior door and threshold and install a seal between a glass shower door and tile were the simple tasks requested. Well, for the dead bolt the individual removed the door knob and put on the dead bolt. So now we have a door with no knob and a dead bolt knob. For sealing the gap at the bottom of the exterior door, well he stuck adhesive weather stripping to the door. A picture is worth a thousand words. For the shower door, he attempted to glue a door sweep to the door. Obviously it didn't work. I'm a very handy guy with a lot of knowledge of how things should be done. This was complete incompetence. The company should be embarrassed by this type of work and then to demand payment.
