The duct connecting the bathroom fan to the exhaust opening out the roof became disconnected. So moisture from the bathroom was being blown into the attic space (and creating moisture damage). I called the guys at Dr. Duct and they were able to come a few weeks later. When the guys came, they were very courteous and even took their shoes off as not to track dirt and snow into the house. The climbed up into the attic and took a "before" picture. They then re-connected the duct and held it in place with 2 screws and some duct tape. They then took an "after" picture. They showed us both pictures to show us what they had done. It was a quick job and they were in and out in less than 30 minutes. The cost was reasonable. I have not had any other services from this company, but I was happy with the job they did, and I would not hesitate to hire them for duct cleaning in the future.

This business was sent in from our insurance company after making a claim and I was really surprised with their knowledge and quality of work. I guess they must be good if an insurance company is recommending them. Firstly, they pointed out the flooring that we had installed by Argos, and noted that it was not suitable for our condo and that it should never had been put in in the first place. In fact, I had problems from day one with my laminate purchased from Argos. They fixed a lot of the mistakes that were done by the previous installer. This review is not to bash Argo's, but I learnt a home owners lesson; ask a lot of questions about products before you get them installed!!! The whole process was quick and painless, and they helped move furniture around in our very small apartment! I could not be happier! I have attached a picture of the new floors, and of course, had to include my dog in the picture too! :)

They worked with me at every stage -- from design through the selection of plants and stones -- and thoughtfully adjusted the plan to fit my budget. Thank you very much, Tom, Seamus, and team, for the wonderful work you did. VS Landscaping turned my vision of a welcoming garden into reality, and I would not hesitate to return to them for any future work. I especially appreciated Tom's continuous, collaborative coordination throughout the project -- from the initial site visit and sketching a design that reflected my ideas, through to construction and planting. The entire team was highly professional, dedicated, and clearly passionate about their work. Their expertise and creativity showed in the attention to detail of the design, the overall landscape layout, and the plant selection. The crew's workmanship was of exceptional quality, and they were always friendly, professional, and flexible in incorporating my ideas. Everyone at the company, including the administrative staff, was a pleasure to deal with, and communication was excellent throughout the project. After my first winter, a few of the trees did not survive. VS Landscaping honoured their warranty and replaced them all without hesitation. A year later, I remain extremely happy with the results. The work looked great, and the overall experience during the installation process was positive. Unfortunately, the front steps have now started falling apart, creating what we believe is a serious safety hazard. We contacted the company hoping they would stand behind the workmanship or at least help address the issue, but were told the work is outside of warranty and that we would need to pay for repairs ourselves. We understand warranties have limits, but we are disappointed that such significant deterioration happened in less than three years and that there was little willingness to help resolve it. Given the cost of the project, we expected the hardscaping to last much longer. I'm leaving this review because while the work looked excellent at first, long-term durability and post-project support matter just as much.
