Inventory can be hit or miss. Homegoods has a huge selection of of interior decoration for your to choose from. My coworker mention this Augusta location has the biggest Homegoods inventory selection in all of Georgia. HomeGoods has a pretty random selection of dried and packaged food items and various furniture and household items. You never quite know what you'll get, but if you're willing to shop opportunistically, there's plenty there to be worth considering. I found some shelving that I needed, but predictably ended up with a couple of things, including some discount Jelly Bellys. It's a pretty easy shopping experience without a ton of lines or procedures, so whether they have everything you need or not, it tends not to be a huge waste of time. And you'll probably find something good. read more

This is not the largest HomeGoods I have ever been too BUT the quality of decorative offerings is phenomenal. As a warning...stick to your list...I Always go in for one item and leave with much more. They have some of the best seasonal items, candles and one off pieces for that "corner in a room" or that pop of color for the living room etc! read more

While visiting Augusta I decided to pop in one of my fav stores. The store was clean and neat. Spr is coming, so all the easter and springy stuff was in the front. Lots of V-Day stuff out also. I browsed for a few a aisles checking for sales and mark downs. I love the furniture, which is always in style. They did have alot of furniture reductions. This shopping center has a lot of parking for all. Great spot to park and browse all the stores at one time. I will def visit this area again. This store is dangerous to your wallet, I always find something to take home with me. Lots of seasonal decor, gift ideas and don't get me started on the cute stuff for the little ones, both two footed and four footed. Store appears to be stuffed with stuff right now, getting ready for fall holidays and of course the Christmas Holiday season. Things I wished were a little different .... a section of made in America items would be super. I love the offerings from around the globe. Perhaps highlighting different countries at different times would be a real shopping incentive. What I strongly dislike is all the look a like and knock of stuff from China. I understand that at a certain price point that is where items are manufactured, but a lot of the made in labeling is deliberately deceptive. Yes I am one of those people that would like to be able to buy all American products, sadly that is rarely a possibility. However I would still prefer to buy from countries other than China. Especially if the items have a certain look whether it be Italian, Swedish, or Indian. read more

I've recently become of a certain place where I'm comfortable collecting and using good cookware. Through word of mouth and Facebook groups, I've been sent here for the occasional lucky Le Creuset find and I have not been disappointed! I am so impressed with how nicely the knick knacks and numerous odd items all have a way of flowing together and not looking at all disheveled or on it's last legs. There's really no rhyme or reason to the way some things are laid out but that could because of the many people perusing and putting down items so you've gotta keep your eyes peeled and be ready to spend more time than you were anticipating. I personally enjoy finding a nice mug, laundry basket, or wine opener in addition to the fun baking molds. I get inspired by the beautiful gift baskets and the layouts every time I walk into this place. read more

I don't go to Homegoods often because of the location (not convenient to me), but I had an amazing experience there when I visited this weekend. The staff was extremely courteous, including a woman who acknowledged me while I was shopping (complimented my sweater), a gentleman who took my heavy items and placed them behind the counter, and the woman who graciously checked me out with a "smize." OH YEAH! And the gentleman who helped me before gently placed everything in the back of my car. Seriously impressive experience! read more

A very lively store...super friendly and polite staff. My only complaint is that the store seems a bit disheveled. I understand it is basically a last stop for all things name brand that have nowhere else to go, but is it asking too much for a bit more cleanliness and organization? All and all I found wonderful additions to my home and although it's a bit pricey for my liking, I'll definitely be going back for a fee other unique finds. read more

Man, I love this place. It's my go-to when I just need a little stop over between work and home. Somewhere to walk around and wander, and just see what the universe shows me. It's a wonderful place. There are some really good possibilities in the clearance section. This has become the place where I buy all my greeting cards- there's usually always a few on clearance and I stock up when I can. My stash has come in handy multiple times and I've actually had to stop buying these bc I have more than enough. Now that you know too much about my greeting card stash, I can finish this review. There are some great Home Goods (ha!) and treasures to find. Sometimes it's a hit, sometimes a miss, but there's always pretty things you don't need to look at! read more

Trying to spend my $ here, I've had gift cards in my purse for months. Finally I find some treasures stand in line only to be treated like a thief. I had several large planters that they accused me of switching prices on. I waited at the register for over 20 mins while they price checked and came back with "there is no way that planter is that price on THEIR price tag." Seriously, I could've walked out of the store shoplifting this merchandise easier than trying to buy these items. I have never been treated so poorly by customer service employees. This store recently opened it doors in Augusta. It's located in Washington Crossing. This area is bustling with business because several stores have also recently opened here. The setup in this store is nice. I feel that this store is smaller than all the others they have around the country. There are really nice items for the home here. The aisles are easy to navigate and the store is organized well. I was in search of a nightstand for my bedroom. I priced a few here and I feel they are good prices for what you are getting. There were a few nightstands I saw that I really liked and is debating about purchasing. I did find a storage bin to put my CDs, DVDs, and other discs in. It was about $8. The checkout process was a breeze and the cashier was very eager to help me check out. I will definitely be back to check out more things here. read more

I'm a big fan of Home Goods, TJmaxx, Marshalls, etc. Saving money is one of my favorite things, and stores like this make it much cheaper to live well for less. This store is clean and well laid out. I found everything I needed, and a few things that I didn't (oops!). The cashier was nice and attentive. I will say that it seems a bit smaller than others I've been to. Everyone who knows me knows that I love a bargain. If they know me really well then they know I love a HomeGoods store. I'm so glad we finally got one. I decided to skip the grand opening since I know how my city loves a grand opening. Like the rest of the stores under the TJMaxx umbrella, it's important to not look at them as you would look at other stores selling like goods. If you see it and you want it, you had better get it because it probably won't be there when you return. Prices are adequate. Quality is hit or miss. I love catching the name brand items here for a fraction of the price. You can also find some eclectic things from time to time. Overall, the bargains and sweet finds will keep me coming back weekly. read more

I do not know the mission statement of the store but I am guessing it deals with overflow from other large retailers. I believe that is what plays into how the store is organized as in its not or at least not very well organized. They have stuffed shoved everywhere. You will have to look close because there are plenty of gems that are on steep discount prices. This place is well worth the visit if you are need home goods that are discounted over your main stream retailers. Just be ready to have to hunt what you need down. read more

I love shopping with any Homegoods store nearby but this particular one is not the best. It is very disorganized and the store's taste/selection is not the best in comparison to Greenville, Columbia, Charlotte or Atlanta. I hope that their inventory improves in the near future, otherwise I will not recommend. read more
