I do believe it is the most expensive retirement facility in the entire area by far but for some that is for a reason. It is a beautiful area, right next to all the shopping and some good restaurants in West Lafayette, and the research and model has made the main entry beautiful. Staff and engaging with various people here is easy and I always enjoy performing piano for the residents this past decade.

Honestly do not recommend but let's go over things I've seen / heard while working here …read more -Dietians are really rude and make their cooks and culinary aids work and with fevers ,pneumonia,Covid symptoms. -They don't let you take time off for your family . Only option is to quit . They also get mad when people try to communicate with the dietitians . There pushy and rude and they interrupt people's sentences all the time and the residents too , no workers let them communicate their feelings . -The cnas are extremely rude to residents/House keepers/Receptionist -They mess up the pay grades and or don't pay people . -Mold in the kitchen . In the ceiling and in dish room . -They won't let anyone change shifts in any departments -Dementia unit is the only good unit in this place -They aren't very understanding -if you also test positive with Covid you are able to come back in five days even if you had Covid . They also say that the workers shouldn't test for another ninety days so no positive Covid tests show up during this time . -The supervisors tell everyone to pull up their mask but don't wear them them selves . -They let the residents sit and scream when they need a blanket ,a mask put up ,pushed to their room .anything the residents need the cnas expect them to do them selves . -The cnas also always came in there and were demanding food in the middle of the line especially this women on the 200 unit .Theresa not sure if she still works there but wouldn't recommend having your family member put on 200 . Try on all costs to have them put on 300,400 units and the dementia unit. -The food is also so terrible . And the cnas will steal food from the resident and claim the resident doesn't have any food. -I just can't stress enough how disrespectful and Inconsiderate this place . I DO NOT RECOMMEND PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE KEEP YOUR FAMILY IN YOUR CARE OR SEND THEM SOME PLACE ELSE . Not only I but other people I've talked to/heard stories ,these people also do not recommend this place or talking to the dietitian lady or any of the cnas .

I am so thankful the BalanceMD team was available to help me (and grateful to my primary care…read morephysician for knowing about BalanceMD). I suffered from intermittent balance issues (not vertigo - spinning room, but more like the unsteady feeling of standing on a boat that is rocking) and after a few well-targeted tests to rule out some other conditions, I was diagnosed with Vestibular Migraines. Dr. Sanders prescribed a time-tested and inexpensive drug in a small dosage that I take at bedtime. It is like magic, no more unsteadiness. BTW, VM is a diagnosis of exclusion, and the condition is common in people over age 50 who have had migraines during their younger years. That fits me perfectly. From age 25 - 45 I had aural migraines, not the head-splitting painful kind, but very disruptive visually. After 45 they just stopped. But then the dizziness started. I would have never linked the two. Thanks. Dr. Sanders! I now use their Tele-visit (internet video conference) appointment feature for my follow-up visits with him which are so convenient. You just need a laptop or tablet with a camera and mic. Takes less than 10 minutes, and I don't have to leave my desk at work to go to the doctor!
