The plan was that I was going to refinace my current home and then find a new home and rent the old home out. I was told I could do that. After refinacing I made an offer on a place. I was told I was on track for the mtg. only to find on the very last day... that I was not. The refinace had doomed the deal. I don't have confidence my mortgage broker had actually looked into any of it and simply thought he would be able to make it work.

They went above and beyond to help us close our loan on time & made the entire process as stress free as possible. We approached Tim with a very tight timeline & he delivered on time. The team was always available to answer all of our questions (especially as first time home buyers!) & were always on top of all the paper work. We are incredibly appreciative of everything the team did for us & highly recommend working with them!

To be honest, I feel it is very difficult to find professionals in any industry that pride themselves on true customer service. There always seems to be too long a delay between emails or phone calls, or perhaps a missed appointment. This is most certainly not the case with Jason. He picked up the phone just about every single time we called, 7 days a week. The reality of this housing market is that such responsiveness is necessary and can be the difference between getting a house or losing one. Jason moved quickly and efficiently on each home we put an offer on, and when we finally had one stick (others were lost to inspection issues and bidding wars), the process was easy. Jason's crew stepped in and ensured all our documents were ready for the underwriter so that the loan commitment would be swift. Sure enough, it was. I almost couldn't believe it. We have a somewhat complex financial situation with a business, another property, etc, but they handled everything with ease and offered us a number of packages with closing credits or a lower interest rate; this choice of options was great. Perhaps most importantly, everything Jason said would happen, happened, in a good way. He told us everything up front and followed through on his word. I know I sound like Mortgage Master hired me for this (they didn't), but I want to scream from the rooftops about how amazing they were. You truly need someone like Jason on your side in this cutthroat real estate market. You will be glad you went with him over another bank or mortgage company in the area.

I wish I could say that about my experience of Jason Evans and his team. Unfortunately it has been tedious, time consuming beyond belief (closing should have happened weeks ago), constant excuses and stalling tactics. . . We reached out to remortgage our home (with such good rates right now!) and have barely received a coherent response. The first time we asked for 4 different scenarios (15 year, 30 year, etc) and the email we got only outlined one. The second time we asked for someone else, and he called back with follow up questions, then sent back an email. No grammar, no formatting (something that should be sent in a table is sent in a spaced out in a document that's impossible to read). I work at a IT finance consulting firm. When we send quotes to our clients, it's sent in a formatted excel doc or in a portal that they can access all the information. Our rates weren't as good as the friend who recommended us, which I understand is sometimes the circumstance, but the email's we've received have felt like no one is paying any attention. I want someone who's going to listen to our needs and hit the details right!

Great experience. We did re-finance with Poli group. Initially, we called several loan officers…read morefor the re-finance rates, among which Poli has the best rate at 15 years fixed. So we started the business with them. The closing was extremely fast. It took us only 23 days to close!! I was told that they lock the rate for 25 days, which is probably why the rate is lower as longer locking period would require a higher cost and you have to pay for it, either through closing fee or a higher interest rate. But this locking period is enough for re-fin since their process is very fast. They did say that if for some unfortunate reason the process does not close within 25 days due to their issue, they will extend it for a longer locking period. We did not go through that pain and was able to close with 25 days! Overall, it was a great experience for us. We highly recommend Poli Mortgage Group and will definitely be back again when doing another loan.

When I lived in the area I also had some accounts here, but not in many years. The associates here have always been friendly and helpful. They offer walk in service, as well as drive thru. They offer Saturday hours until noon, something I haven't seen since moving to the south, and the whole gamut of accounts from savings, to checking, money market, CDs, and I'm sure many I've never heard of. It's a shame more hometown banks like this don't still exist. I was happy to go with my father, and see they're still taking care of him, and are very respectful even as he gets up there in age.
