Loitered around Homebase and discovered their fantastic sales on their lamps. They have an awesome sale going on. Too bad I couldn't decide on which table lamp to buy because I was in awe. Too many decisions at awesome prices.
My point of business was to reserve and collect an air conditioning unit. On the website they offered 15% off that day, although I was not able to add the air conditioning unit to my cart and capitalize on the 15% deal, I was quite disappointed. I explained my troubles to the customer service rep as I tried to buy it online and pick it up, instead I reserved and collected. The customer sales rep honored the 15% discount and I walked out saving over £30. I did really like the service I received. When I went to reserve and collect I was told from the website to pick it up the next day. I didn't want to wait so I called them, a guy who I spoke with located my item and placed it on hold for me and it was ready for pick up when I arrived.
I was very pleased with my overall transaction. Now, I am uncertain if I will be keeping the £289 air conditioning unit due to the efficacy of the unit and if I return it, I will then be putting Homebase's customer services skills once again to the test. read more
