We stayed here for 60 days while our t house was getting repaired. It was great the staff is amazing. We stayed on the 7th floor and had a great view of the golf course and even Downyown L.A. the housekeeper Silvia was great she paid attention to every detail and even tucked in my daughter's dolls. The dog park area was nice with plenty of poop bags unfortunately not everyone picks up their dogs mess. If you walk up the hill there is a great grass area for your kids and dog to run. Breakfast has lots of options. Unfortunately no bar but they will take you up the hill to the other Hilton in a golf cart if you want dinner or drinks. read more

My family and I stayed at Home2 Suites by Hilton LA Montebello for 3 days while we were visiting SoCal. Our stay landed us on the 6th floor with quite a view. Our room faced the rear of the hotel overlooking the golf course and consisted of the beautiful lake. The room was spacious and clean, and fully equipped with things that make you feel like you're at home: plates, cups, bowls, utensils, + a full sized fridge. Bonus points because complimentary breakfast is offered daily. Hours of operation M-Fri are from 6am-9am. Weekend hours are from 7am-10am. This is absolutely THE BEST complimentary breakfast spread I have ever had the pleasure of taking part in. Granted, most places I've stayed @ doesn't offer this. Here you will find a waffle station with all of the toppings you could imagine, eggs, ham, sausage patties, assortment of cereals, yogurt, fruit cups, and fresh fruit. While I am not sure how great the options are for a vegetarian standpoint but I did notice meatless patties. My complaints: 1)The lighting within the room are positioned horribly. Whether you decide to use the restroom light or the ones located in the dining|kitchen area as a nightlight, they are both extremely bright making it difficult to sleep. My toddler and I struggled to sleep soundly due to us being sensitive sleepers. 2)Someone triggered the fire alarm during our stay. Walking down 6 flights of stairs with a toddler is already tough but adding in groups and groups of other patrons caused for more traffic than I was ready for. Once we made it back to the lobby we were told it was a false alarm. **insert EYE ROLLS emoji** 4 stars overall. Our stay was comfortable and parking was never an issue. I enjoyed my stay here for the weekend. I had a mountain view room on the 3rd floor. One night I heard a party on the first floor patio, but it was over when quiet hours started. The hotel and rooms are clean, there is a little market and there is a small laundry area you can use. Plenty of parking too. The only downside is that a lot of people stay here, so breakfast buffet was crowded. But I was able to take my food to my room, where there was a table. I appreciated that there was a full size refrigerator, and plates, glasses and utensils. Would definitely stay here again. read more

This feels like home!! I had a staycation here and was super impressed about it. It's my first time staying in Home2Suites family and I really love that they have a mini bar with microwave, toaster, utensils, etc. I really need it when I stay in a hotel but it's almost impossible unless it's an airbnb. First time here and we were welcomed warmly by the front desk. Check in process was easy and the lobby was clean and well kept. There's a small store in the market filled with toiletries and snacks. We got a suite with a small kitchen. The room itself was clean and everything seemed to be in place and working. Noise level was at a minimum, we didn't really hear anything in the halls or through the walls. The bedding could have been a little more comfortable, but it was tolerable! Breakfast was included to it was a nice perk. They have an indoor pool and a decent gym (treadmills, bikes, free weights, multi -use cable machine). Overall, we had a pleasant stay. read more

We had a wonderful and safe stay here! The staff were so kind -- they even lent us golf clubs to play at the nearby 9-hole course, which our baby loved, especially seeing the geese. The free breakfast was simple but very good, and the underground parking and extra security made us feel safe. Our room was clean, spacious, and super comfortable. My family stayed here for 9 nights recently. We stayed in a King Studio on the 8th floor and we had an incredible view of Top Golf and could also see Downtown LA in the distance. It's located within Quiet Canyon and felt quite safe. The rooms and hotel lobby, etc were very clean and had a modern, contemporary feel to it. All of the staff were excellent. They have a daily breakfast buffet that's included and they have a nice seating area with some booths and tables. We had some home repairs to deal with so we appreciated the studio kitchen to prepare simple lunches. Parking was easy and free. I highly recommend this hotel. read more

We were there last weekend for Universal Studios. The hotel is right next to a golf course, so the location is nice and quiet. I feel the price is well worth it because the room is modern with a nice midsize refrigerator, kitchen utensils, microwave, and dishwasher. The hotel offers free breakfast, parking, a pool, and a 24-hour fitness center. The place also has a gated entrance that they only allow hotel guests to enter after a certain time in the night, and a key card is required to enter the hotel. Overall, I am very pleased with our stay here and certainly will consider this hotel again when we come to LA in the future. I gave 4/5 stars because the parking is a little bit hard to find if you are back to the hotel late in the night. read more

I can't thank Home2 Suites enough for the way they took care of my family while we were evacuated from the Eaton Fire. They have lots of really good healthy options for breakfast like their buckwheat waffles and plant based sausage. Their little shop next to the front desk has THE BEST chocolate chip cookies and some delicious teriyaki chicken and chicken wings. The indoor pool-jacuzzi was super relaxing, and the laundry room was very convenient for my family of 5. The housekeepers were very generous and respectful of our space and belongings. The round the clock security was a plus. We felt very safe during our stay which is very comforting when you have kids. Can't forget about the amazing view of the pond and golf course! The home 2 suites in Montebello is a fairly new property, so it's really nice. Our view from the window was the little lake outside so it was really pretty. The room was clean, service was friendly, and it's centrally located near everything. The rooms are moderately priced around $185 a night, it's not expensive or super cheap and you get a little more than you pay for, it's a good deal in my opinion. It's definitely on our top choices for budget friendly brand name hotels in the LA area. read more

During my stay, I thought this was a solid hotel in the Los Angeles area. It's in a central enough area for you to be close to all the major places you want to go. It's also a good midpoint between LA and the rest of the San Gabriel Valley. The hotel room itself was modern, big, and clean. Very spacious bathroom, and the beds were comfortable and supportive. Hotel breakfast is your standard continental breakfast, but it was included with your stay, which is fast becoming rare in LA. Parking is also free, which was a surprise given the location. All in all, solid hotel to consider. Just be aware that parking fills up fast. If you get to the hotel late, you may be inconvenienced with have to street park quite a distance away from the hotel. read more

We love Home2Suites for various reasons. The soft beds, the extra room, free breakfast, terrific coffee, a pool, workout area and this location has it as well. It also has a golf area within walking distance. This hotel also has the added security of hotel room card to access the elevator. If you are going down, that is not needed but if you are going up you will need the card. There's a underground parking garage, but you will need to take the duel elevator, not the single one that will only take you down to floor one. EV parking gives your 8 clipper creek and 8 Tesla level two superchargers. They are located on the side right before you hit the hotel. A little tucked away. But the three stars really is due to a couple factors. Dirty linens and the size of the room. These were the smallest Home2Suites we've ever seen. The adjoining living space was just an arm's length away from the bed where other locations were unlike this place. For a Hilton, we expected nothing less than clean towels and everything clean upon entry. However, this was not the case. Sleepwise, we were on the 4th floor, sound wasn't really an issue but beware car parking is plenty and it surrounds the hotel front and back. If you're a light sleeper like myself, you'll probably notice it but for most people you won't. read more

My family and I spent four nights here at the beginning of July. There is a lot to love about this hotel. 1. Location: You are truly in the mix of LA staying here. Travel times included 15 minutes to Union Station for Dodgers Express Shuttle, 25-30 minutes to Universal Studios, 25-30 minutes from Hollywood. 40 minutes to Huntington Beach. Our room overlooked the golf course. There is a supermarket, gas station, and pharmacy all less than five minutes away. 2. Staff: Everyone was super friendly and helpful. 3. Facilities: The sliding doors to the outside for the pool, the fire pit, and the grills all made the stay a little extra. I just felt relaxed during my entire visit. I even grilled burgers and a steak my last night here. The hotel has utensils to sign out. Pool/hot tub area were great. There is even a water bottle filling station here to use. 4. Room: We had a two queen bed studio suite with a kitchenette. It was a perfect size with a lot of storage. Beds were comfortable, utensils were provided, we even had a dishwasher. Definitely a good size for four of us. Room seemed very clean. My only ding is breakfast. They have a free, hot breakfast, but with the exception of the day I went down at 6:30 AM it seemed like a cluster each day. There was no rhyme or reason (except for waffles) what would be served, they would run out of things quickly, and it took a long time (at least 10 minutes) to replenish anything. What was served was pretty good. Overlooking breakfast, I would stay here again in a second. Free parking, great location, clean, friendly staff, you truly can't go wrong! read more

Took a chance making a reservation at this hotel to be able to get around the Los Angeles area without too much trouble and it was perfect in every way!!! Free parking. Yay! It's located across the street from a muni golf course so we had a nice view from our room. We were in LA, Pasadena alot. So it was only a 15 min drive. We went to Carson one day. Only 30 min. Rooms are huge. A lot of storage space. A lot of outlets all over the room. And even an outlet next to the sitting area mirror so I could use the blow dryer when the bathroom was in use! A great kitchen area and full size fridge. Even a dishwasher. Free breakfast in the am! There's a bunch of Mexican restaurants a block away for quick eats but we didn't try. A pharmacy about 5 blocks away which was great because I forgot my meds! A small sandwich and boba place too for a quick lunch. Would stay here again and would look into other Home2Suites for future stays. read more

Made reservations for 2 Queen beds and we ended up with one King and a pullout bed. There are two adults and one high school volleyball player who is 6'3"!!! We each need our own bed!! This is unacceptable!! I even asked for two double beds and they don't have doubles at this hotel. I asked for a rollout bed and they don't have any at this hotel either!! The only thing the front desk is able to do is give us a discount and move us tomorrow if a room with 2 Queens open up. Oh and we have the biggest room with a good view of the golf course!! I could care less!! I just need my grandson to be comfortable since he's playing in a 3-day tournament. We were so upset and disappointed!! read more

Usually, you can expect a paper bag with a bagel, a protein bar and a bottle of water, and that's about it. Not so at the Home2 Suites Montebello. Here, a to-go breakfast includes a hot croissan'wich Ora cheese omelette with your choice of coffee or juice, a fresh wrapped bagel with cream cheese, butter, a napkin and cutlery...all included in your room rate. It's a real treat! Staff are masked and socially distanced from guests, rooms are sanitized and set up with everything you'd expect from an extended stay hotel: a great place to stay. The worst Hilton Hotel I've ever stayed at. I travel a lot and usually always try and stay at Hilton Hotels. They are dependable and my Hilton status is a nice bonus. The app works great and after a long day of traveling, being able to just get to your room without waiting to check in is great. I checked in on the mobile app like I always do. I always try to pick the top floor for the view. I chose my room (8th floor) and my arrival time. When I got to the hotel, I noticed my room was on the 2nd floor, not a big deal at all, but it all went downhill after that. Our friends were also staying here and on the 2nd night noticed bites all over them. Turns out their bed was full of bed bugs. They had been there for a while as there were lots of carcasses as well. Management seemed to be aware as they weren't too surprised. They were refunded their Hilton points but went to a different hotel. That same day we had taken the "do not disturb sign" off the door to get the room cleaned (before we knew about the bugs). No one ever came so we did a thorough investigation to make sure. Luckily our room looked clean. The following morning we went downstairs and asked that our room please be cleaned. They informed us that "we had to request 24 hours in advance and whomever checked us in would have told us that", then pointed to a crumpled piece of paper on the back of their monitor stating the same. I explained that I checked in on the app and if there is ever an issue at a hotel, I usually get a message in the app or an email. They said they were very busy today, but could get some towels. We insisted and reminded them about the bed bug issue. The front desk said they would try. Came back about 6 hours later and both mattresses on either side of our room were in the hallway and our room still wasn't cleaned. As we sit here typing this review, we are looking for other options. I suggest you do the same. read more

My boyfriend and I are lactose and as soon as we saw this we were just amazed. They have a few stations oatmeal,waffles, pastries, coffee, fruit, and cereals. The breakfasts area is pretty spacious. They have a nice gym and spa area. The only downside to this place is the parking. They don't have enough parking and we ended up having to park in the street infront if the hotel. But they do have a security roaming around and another one station at the gate. Pretty happy with my stay read more

This was my first time staying at this hotel as I was here for business . I was very impressed by the amenities this hotel offered . The room is roomy , bigger with a nice bathroom , the room also comes with a kitchen including a good size refrigerator with a freezer that holds a basket of frozen food . The kitchen also has a standard countertop microwave and six coffee mugs and utensils. The only things that made me not too satisfied were I found some dirty spoons and a chipped coffee mug in the kitchen . We've been staying here over the past 6 years, we have never had any issues, parking lot is easy access your cars are safe, the lobby is clean and you do need your room key to access the room through elevator. Staff is very helpful and nice if you ever visit Christian is the best and very helpful good job christian! I can say bathroom shower could use more scrubbing down, otherwise room was clean! Your about 5 minutes away from the authentic Mexican food and desserts! Breakfast,free Wi-Fi and the view was beautiful front view of golf course. 9-9-23 DO NOT STAY HERE; BED BUGS ON SEVERAL FLOORS We checked in with the app. Our friends were staying on the 6th floor and we are on the 2nd floor. Our friend woke up absolutely covered in bed bug bites. They looked under their mattress and there was a clear infestation. We had already left for the day when they told us about this. We came back that night and checked our room. We didn't find anything thankfully but went to the front desk to ask them to clean our room because they hadn't cleaned it in the 3 days we had stayed. We were told it was impossible, that the rooms are only cleaned when requested 24 hours in advance. We told the guy at the front desk that this was not relayed via the app and he said there was nothing he could do, that they were too busy to clean our room. I leaned in and quietly explained that we were friends with the couple who had to leave due to bed bugs and we'd really appreciate if they could do our room today because we were uncomfortable. He immediately said yes, they'd do it. We returned nearly 6 hours later and our room was untouched. Further, the rooms to the right and left of ours (225) had people actively removing the mattresses and propping them up against the wall in the hallway. Perhaps the "we don't clean unless you ask 24 hours in advance" policy is not a best practice here. Cannot recommend this place at all. Our bathroom hasn't been very clean since we got here, the coffee at breakfast has been out every single time I've tried to get some and my friends were not treated well when they had to leave a find a new hotel and go buy all new clothes due to the bedbugs. They got their money back but that's pretty much it. Well, an employee Drew told them to try heating up a spoon and putting it on the bites to make them itch less. read more

Room has kitchenette, just no electric stove in our king size room, but everything else was above expectations. Breakfast on weekdays is 6-9 sit down or bag to go. Get whatever u want. A better selection then Continental breakfast. Jacuzzi was nice, not too crowd. Parking has both Tesla & EV charging. Staffs was nice and professional. This is the second time I have stayed here and I will definitely still come back. The location of this hotel is great. Not only does it have free breakfast but also free parking (which is unheard of in hotels in the greater LA area). The hotel allows mobile keys which is nice. The two time that I have stayed here they gave me my mobile key quite early (1-2 hours before check-in) and was able to go straight to my room. We didn't have a 1 bedroom suite this time but a 1 King Bed Studio Suite which was quite large still. It definitely did not feel cramped. The room was clean and still had a nice kitchen. We also had a sofa bed which was actually quite comfortable. I would definitely come back! read more

BEDBUGS!! My husband and I stayed here the 9/6-9/7 and he woke up feeling sick and noticed red bumps all over his arms. We pulled up the mattress and found bedbugs. We immediately called the front desk and they sent the manager and maintenance up to our room and they moved the entire mattress and it was CRAWLING WITH so many. My poor husband suffered an allergic reaction and this completely ruined our vacation. We are back home now and still dealing with this as we cannot keep the suitcase. I was disappointed by the response we got. We left and stayed elsewhere for the remainder of our vacation. Our friends that were also staying told us they were pulling out mattresses. I'm only giving this place 3 stars because when I asked the attendant to refill the kleenex in the bathroom she said "no not today." What the hell does that mean? No? That's not acceptable at $245/night. Why can't I get Kleenex? There were only 3 tissues in there when I checked in so it's not like I used a box and need more. I have allergies and blowing ur nose repeatedly makes it red and raw and uncomfortable so BOO to the room attendant. When I get back there imma ask the front desk for a box. If they accommodate I may revise my review but right now they are S.O.L. And unfortunately it has overshadowed the desk clerk who did make shit happen with a way early check in. Rooms are nice but nothing especially special. I'm sweating balls in the back of this lyft vehicle so I'm grumpy. I'll be back there soon and am gonna go for a swim so we shall see. For our kids' spring break, we decided to take them to Universal Studios. Since we don't know that area well, I had asked a friend for a hotel recommendation and she suggested this place. Since hubby had to work remotely, we ended up getting a 1-bedroom suite. As we entered our room on the first day of arrival, we were quite impressed on how spacious the room was and the full size refrigerator and microwave was very useful since we ordered a lot of take out during our stay. However, everything went downhill after that. The next day, we left for Universal Studios and by the time we got back, our room was not cleaned (beds were not made, garbage was not thrown out, no new towels, etc.). During the week that we were there, we never received housekeeping services. No one even bothered calling us and asking us if we needed any. We had to call the front desk for more toilet paper during the week we were there. We even had to throw our own trash in one of the outside garbage bins. As for breakfast, everything was overly salty. The only items that were good were the croissants and the Silk almond milk. read more
