Check in was fast, they have a restaurant and bar downstairs, hot breakfast options, and an ice cream machine in the lobby. There was plenty of space around the pool and some game tables as well. Edit: The shower had a large crack in the tile that had been poorly repaired covering most of the length of the bathtub and the wallpaper was peeling. There were also cracks/ leak marks on the ceiling of which I failed to take a photo. The breakfast was pretty empty when we went downstairs and the gentleman who seemed to be in charge of refilling things was on his cell phone chatting. After letting the front desk know that there were bed bugs in the room, they apologized, asked for pictures and let me know they would send "tons of points" and a room credit. They credited approximately $8 to the room and sent about 1200 points which I will never use because I will never stay in another Marriott. An $8 credit seemed truly ridiculous. The front desk staff was very polite, but this place is clearly struggling to maintain minimum levels of acceptability. The floor of the hotel room was so filthy, that we could not walk barefooted. Furniture was missing hardware and the shower curtain was ripped in many areas. Amenities that we would have enjoyed, the treadmill and the hot tub, were out of service. This properly was not as it appeared in advertising on Expedia. The one star rating is because it refused to let me leave the stars empty.

Pool broken sue to maintenance issue. Important to us as my wife has orthopedic issues and jumping in the pool after a long day driving is great for her.
