Our Chico having fun with his new friends. Love that they send pics to keep us at ease.

Our doggie loves coming to Home Styled Per Care. We leave him overnight when we have trips we have to go on and can't bring him. Appreciate that they send pics and communicate while we are away to make us feel at ease.

Buddy having fun.

I found them on Instagram. They are very reasonably priced, the place is very secure and clean. Chad was very attentive towards our dog, Buddy. Buddy made new friends and played the entire time. I received photos of Buddy on the daily. We will definitely utilize them again.

Once again, Chad and Mike did a fantastic job with our puppy Valor. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of our fur baby! We'll be back!

This is the profile Chad or Jimmy (whatever his name actually is) uses on the Rover App

I really hate to write this but im compelled to protect future clients and their fur babies. I used Home Styled Pet a few times after finding them on Instagram, at first everything seemed legit, the meet and greet went well, seemed professional. But after the first time, my fur baby came home with a branch stuck in the roof of his mouth. I dismissed it as just an accident, my pet will put anything in his mouth but was he not supervised properly?, I was also not pleased with the way my pet smelled when he came home. I dont think the home is as clean and sanitized as they claim. The last time I used him was out of desperation and decided to give them another chance. Unfortunately it wasnt positive. My pet came home extremely thirsty, he went straight to his water bowl and drank the entire bowl and wanted more. He then gobbled all the kibble in his bowl as if he was starving, even though i supplied his food to them. I don't think he was actually fed. Additionally, although Chad advertises as the person who does the care, each time I showed up to pick up my dog, it was an older gentleman who I assume was Chad's dad, and Chad was not there. Which leads to my question? who is really watching the pets?. I really try to support small business but I just cant make sense of the gut feeling I have with this place, furthermore I did a search on the Rover app, looking for another place to take my pet and was shocked to discover Chad has a profile under a different name, Jimmy U, (Urroz Pets) I really believe something strange is going on with this business, and unfortunately I just cant trust my pet there. I encourage everyone to do their own research. I would say go with your gut feeling.

I was super impressed with Home Styled Pet Care! I always get nervous taking my dogs to a new spot to be cared for and I really didn't want to do traditional boarding this time. I really liked the fact that they only have a few dogs at a time and they can roam freely throughout the house as if they were in the comfort of their own home. Super reasonably priced as well! Chad sent over daily updates throughout our trip and took great care of our babies!

"Update?"

This is my second time booking with Chad and I love the concept about "homestyle" care for my dog bcz Milo is an indoor dog. However, I do wish Chad was a little bit better with the updates. The first time I met Chad prior to booking him he said " I send about 2 updates per pet" but on both occasions I only got one update and almost towards the end of the day. Mind you first booking I left him for 7 days and the second one for 3 days so I think I should have gotten more than 1 update per day. Also when I would ask how Milo was doing it would take forever to get an answer (see pics below). I understand if they have a routine going on or what not but I also feel that if he promised daily updates and the owner is trusting a stranger to take care of their dog for such a long time then they should incorporate the updates into their "routine" Overall experience was Ok. Milo was safe but it's time to look for someone else.

Sally

I'm really sad to share my negative experience with this business, but after leaving little Sally in their care because there were only raving reviews, I feel that I would have been thankful if anyone warned me about this business. My experience negated the very same things people rave about so directly, that I'm left with the impression that these 5 star reviews cannot be anything but fake. First of all, trying to get my first general questions answered took days due to lack of response. Then setting a meet and greet: 4 days to respond with a "yes, that day is good". Since all reviews raved about communication skills, I dismissed this first online interactions and proceeded to the meet and greet. Once I arrived on time, I had to wait 15 minutes outside (what for?). Then the young guy lead me to a very nice backyard, assured me Sally was going to be well taken care of, and stressed several times he'd send "daily updates". I dropped off little Sally, and went on my trip. By the third (of 4) days trip I had received nothing. Now with my heart in my hand, I texted. I had to wait 3.5 hours for a text with a "Sorry for the delay" message. Of course, being the first time I had left Sally with a complete stranger, I was mortified at that point. Next day was the 4th and last day, so, around 7pm I texted saying I was about 30' away from picking up Sally... then I got an update. I still don't understand why I'd want an update now that I'm 30' away from picking her up. I was dying for the very famous daily updates the first 3 days... When Chad asked how my trip was, I told him very politely that I had been very stressed out when I didn't hear from him at all. He literally made a face of disbelief and surprise: he didn't seem to understand that I was expecting what he had promised, or that a dog owner leaving their little girl with a stranger for the first time needed such updates (or at the very least, a quick response after missing the updates for 3 days). We came home and Sally literally ran to the water bowl and drank water for 15 minutes... then she proceeded to pee in the house the entirety of the next day (which had never happened). They have a great set up. It's a shame that they have no idea of how to run a business, respond to inquiries, go through with what they promise, and most importantly, they will NOT care for your dog appropriately.

We love Home Styled Pet Care! Our 2 year old German Short Haired Pointer is there 3x a week while my husband and I are at work and we love the "home like" environment concept that they use! Our dog can go outside for playtime/water play but also can be inside and comfortable and relax if it's hot or he needs a break. He loves all his friends he gets to play with weekly as well and he's tired out when he gets home from the day. We also have had him do overnights while on vacation and receive daily updates and photos which is super important to us and eases our anxiety when we are away. Highly recommend Chad and his team!

We love taking our dog here because they have a big backyard and he is not in a kennel. It's like his second home. Chad is great.

I'm not sure how others were even able to get a hold of anyone from this company. I called a couple…read moreof times and left messages and also made an appointment on their website for a 15min complimentary consult. No one ever called me back. Are they even still in business?

We love Fire Hydrant Pet Sitting!…read more My husband and I have been using Fire Hydrant for dog walking and pet sitting for a little over a year now. We have two medium sized dogs that we rescued from South Korea. As a result of their previous lives and travel history, our dogs are pretty reserved, anxious, and not particularly sociable to other dogs or people. It takes them a while to warm up and this requires a great deal of patience and effort. On top of that, they have separation anxiety from one another. We knew there would be times that we were out of town and needed help outside of our family, so we started dog walking with Fire Hydrant to get the girls accustomed to the walkers. Prior to our walks, Fire Hydrant was great with the initial interview asking where everything was, how the process usually works, any allergies, etc. The first few walks I chose to walk with Denice to share some quirks and share any additional info that might be helpful. This was probably over excessive on my part but Denice was so kind and reassured me they'd be in good hands. In the past year, we've been able to work with Denice, Taylor, Stefy, Annika, Deanne, and Amy and our girls have become used to and love all of them. I no longer worry when we're traveling or stepping away for an evening and can enjoy my time fully knowing that my dogs and home are well taken care of by the Fire Hydrant team. They share the exact route they go on and plenty of photos during their visits. Any pro tips I can give to other fur parents who may have anxious pets would include: - Provide high-value treats the team can use with every walk in case of an emergency or as needed - Share any quirks or anxieties your pet(s) may have with the team. This helps and all the FH team members have been so thoughtful to remember my many pages of notes - If your pets take a while to warm up to new people, start ahead of time and continue to slowly introduce them bit by bit. This will help!

five stars all around! Martina is the best & my pup Steve loves her…read more I found Martina on Yelp--my now husband and I were going away for our destination wedding & we needed someone to care for our 13YO pup. I have never left him with anyone other than my parents / sister to care for him. Martina came over to our home for a meet & greet & Steve immediately took to her. He seemed comfortable and happy around her. We left him with her for just over a week & I felt so at peace. Martina posted plenty of pictures of Steve on her IG page so I was able to see what he was up to and he seemed to be having the time of his life over there. I was worried he would not want to come back home! Martina is awesome at communicating and is very pleasant to be around. I will never take Stevie anywhere else. Thank you for being so good to our old pup.

Martina & her pack were amazing!…read more We were nervous about leaving our girl Bailey with anyone but family, but we instantly knew it would be a good fit after the initial meet and greet. It takes a while for Bailey to warm up to humans but Martina allowed Bailey to warm up to her at her own pace. After the trial half day, we were excited that Bailey would be in great hands and would have friends to play with!! We left Bailey with Martina for a little under a week and we are so happy with the love and attention Martina provided Bailey. She was very professional and kept us updated every day, either through videos/photos on instagram or through text. Bailey looked so happy in all the photos and videos!!! If we could give more stars, we would. We would recommend Martina & Waggy Trails to anyone in need of pet sitting, day care, or dog walking. This was such an easy and great experience and we are so thankful to Waggy Trails for treating Bailey as one of their own!
