Amazing antique store with an infinite amount of really unique items to sift through in just about every home category. They had a entire section of vintage copper cookware, handmade wooden tables and chairs, some of the most unique lamps I have ever seen, furniture in every shape and size, massive framed paintings, you could really get lost in here for hours. Going through the store felt like a scavenger hunt, I wanted to spend the whole day pouring through the trinkets tucked away in every corner.
Sadly as much as I loved browsing I did leave empty handed despite seeing so many things I loved. The conditions of antique items are never going to be perfect and I do understand that, but for the state of some of the things I had my eye on the prices just didn't seem fair. A lot of items were completely unmarked as well, which did make trying to purchase something a little frustrating.
I found a small, lightweight outdoor sculpture I loved without a price, and the (very lovely to interact with) woman attending the store had to call the owner to check for me. The owner on the phone gave the store attendant a price which was absurdly high in my opinion so I politely declined. I then overheard the owner scoff and pretty rudely imply she was doing me a favor by offering the price she did, and seemed to act offended that I had declined.
I'm mostly definitely open to going back, even just for the fun of browsing, but I do wish they would improve their pricing situation. read more
