Grant's talent's exceed my expectations. Recently, I submitted 2 Fixed Blade knifes and a Folder for service. They were ready in a timely manner at a reasonable cost. The folder at one time was rejuvenated at the factory where it was made. Custom Edge Sharpening could give the factory personnel instructions on how to sharpen a blade. Grant is that good! I am confident that this business will continue to offer great service. You can't go wrong with convenience, quality workmanship, and reasonable cost. Will definitely be doing more business in the near future.

I needed a cleaver and a chef's knife sharpened on a weekend afternoon and called Grant to see if I needed to make an appointment. Fortunately he was able to take my knives right away and sharpened them in less than 10 minutes while I waited outside. He even removes some of the surface rust I had on my cleaver for me that I didn't notice. For $10/knife, it's a little ok the high end, but service was nice and I feel like I've got a new set of knives!

Yelp was very helpful finding Bernie's, which was close to home and super convenient. When you get there, you'll wonder for a minute if they even do small jobs like this because it's a shop that looks like it mainly deals with industrial equipment or something. But rest assured your blades are welcome, just go to the little office at the right of the shop. All in all, an amazing experience. For only $9, my two high end chef's knives are as sharp, if not sharper, than the day I got them. I dropped them off at lunch and they were even ready before the 4pm close. I very highly recommend Bernie's to anyone who needs any blades sharpened!
