We went for a new dishwasher and the lady helping us was very knowledgeable and patient while I asked a 100 question. The only major problem I had with this place was the display of their appliances. There were dishwasher on stands with names of the brand that weren't the dishwasher brand. Like the Bosch brand was under a whirlpool logo and vice versa.

The store owner told us their policy is no different from the box stores, so I checked: Best Buy, Home Depot, Lowes, Menards and Sears, however I found this to be false. Tried to keep business local but, because of the extremely poor way this matter was handled, in addition to rudely being hung up on by the store owner, we'll no longer be able to neither purchase from nor recommend others to Home Source Store of Hutchinson. Anyway, it's cheaper here and so many options are available. I find them organized and if you buy online they can have Jen ready for pickup so you don't have to search for it in the warehouse yourself if you prefer to save a little time. Glad they are local. We've spent the last 12 years fighting with small indoor antennas (and losing!), having been told by our electrician that the large antenna they installed in the attic just wasn't "working right". Monty explained why the little indoor ones won't work where we are (too far from the originating signal) and suggested a site visit to diagnose and fix the problem with the large antenna in the attic. He discovered that the attic antenna was damaged (were we sold a used antenna in the first place or did the original installers damage it? We never handled it and have never been in the attic...), was missing parts, and was positioned incorrectly (backwards and aimed in the wrong direction). With an amplifier attached in the basement to the main bundle of coax cables (no clue what it's called) and some futzing in the hot & steamy attic, Monty got all three TVs working beautifully! Wish we'd done some investigating years ago! Maybe we wouldn't have been so frustrated for the past 12 YEARS!! Monty was here for about 80-90 minutes, supplied the coax cable needed, the amplifier, and some connectors. He also carried around a couple of ladders, including a large (very dusty) extension ladder from our barn. I had no trouble at all writing a check for $200. Best money I've spent in a long time!

The lovely sales associate did escalate this problem to their manager and their online inventory was fixed. I very thankful for her help but it would have been nice if it was actually there. 2. There is no cart return outside. It's a pain to bring the cart all the way back in store with a child after loading the car, especially in the winter. 3. Many of the customers need to shower more than once a week, and should consider putting on deodorant. Many of them physically STANK. Basic hygiene is lacking for a handful of their customers. Maybe buy PC and get a free degree? Maybe a reward system would be nice to encourage healthy habits.

There have been other employees there that I've seen act like snots and I was acquainted with another low-end manager (whom I've always suspected to be a sociopath) that would brag about making his subordinates cry. I don't know what the hell is up with this store but I will never give it my business if those running the place treat their employees like subhuman trash.
