Summary (TLDR): the pizza is edible and it's hot. Probably the best you're going to get in Forks. We hiked Olympic National park and we stayed in an AirBnB in Forks. Restaurants are pretty scarce in Forks. This seemed like the best option available. Atmosphere / Location: The Home Slice Take N Bake restaurant is pretty ugly to say the least. I wasn't sure that I walked into the right place when I first entered the store. No pizza ovens in sight or anything related to food prep. Everything inside looked like it was run down. There is no seating available in this place. Food: If you told me that they purchased the frozen pizzas from the Thriftway grocery store down the street and then reheated them, I would believe you. If you've had a good New York pizza slice, then this pizza is a 1/10. The pizza is edible but really not that good. I ate 5 slices because there was nothing else available. I had extremely pungent gas all night. Service: Their phone system does not seem to be setup to handle more than 1 call at a time. I had to keep calling back because my call was automatically declined due to the line being busy. However, the pizza was ready in 15 minutes and it was hot. read more

We were visiting Forks and amongst the very limited food options there found this gem. They are a local business operating out of a small take out place. Their name says take and bake but they also have the option of baked pizzas. However, the wait time to get the pizza baked was more than an hour. The pizzas we took were fresh and delicious. Simply amazingly good pizza. I make my own pizza at home, try many pizza places and have favorites in several states. I thought this would be average, decent take and bake since we had to pick it up well before dinner time. I was absolutely floored by the result. This would be amazing for cooked at the store pizza but add in that it's just a plain oven on 400 and we are in awe. Crust is absolute perfection, 100% edible (no reason to not eat any of it), crispy, yeasty crunch but also soft. Ingredients are real, tasty, oddly shaped in the right way (really cut fresh) and not skimpy. Cheese is amazing, sauce is on point. Unlike most pizza places "small" that is a waste of crust, this small was exactly like a miniature pizza. Proper proportions. I can't say enough. I wish I lived closer, this puts all our local places to shame. I didn't realize they actually cook in store as well, so don't be fooled by the name. But also, how awesome is it to have the option to cook it fresh right when you want it. OMG read more

Decent prices, a little much for what you get. But it's a small town with not so many great alternatives so it's worth it for not having to drive 30 miles in another direction for pizza. Kinda odd it's in essentially an old house though. Also disappointed the marinara is served in such a small cup. read more

This is one of those small, somewhat questionable looking places that has amazing food. The Caesar salad was perfect--they actually took the time to cut the lettuce up into bite size pieces, and I'm pretty sure they make their own dressing. Or it could have been that we had been hiking and were just starving to death, so it tasted that good. We did a half and half on the pizza, and all I can say is that my half was perfection. Fresh jalapeños and salami and mushrooms? Yes, please. The crust was absolutely perfect. Now I want that pizza again right NOW. The only complaint I have, is that it took a while to get the pizza, but it was worth the wait. Service was very friendly. The place was small, but clean, including the bathroom. read more

We were traveling through the area and passed through Forks Washington and needed to get a bite to eat. Your options in this town are very limited. It's pretty much pizza, Mexican or Asian style cuisine and unfortunately, I'm allergic to Asian cuisine. My hubby wasn't in the mood for Mexican food so that just left us with pizza.what we were wanting was a steak but we had to settle for pizza. Checked online and this place had a 4 1/2 star review and the other pizza was a 3 1/2 star so of course we go here. We walk in and it smells great but notice that there's no seating at all and there's basically no decor at all. Just a counter and a tall cooler with bottled drinks. I guess the name should have gave it away that you take the pizza with you but we were pretty tired from hiking over 10 miles that day and at that point we're running on fumes. But whatever we can eat pizza in the car and it'll save us some time not having to stop and dine in. We order and my husband asks where's the restroom. They don't have one. We're told to go to a gas station. Told very rudely I might add. Ok whatever we have 20 minutes to kill so we got find the two gas stations in town that happen to be right across the street from each other. First gas stations restroom is out of order. Go across the street and lo and behold their gas station is out of order too. We look it up and there are no fast food chain restaurants in this town. What to do.... Luckily there was woods behind one of the gas stations and hubby took advantage of that. So we go back and get our pizza and the garlic cheesy bread and let me just say the 2 stars I'm leaving is for the bread. It was excellent. The marinara sauce was not good. We ate the bread without the sauce. Next up the pizza, we had ordered the Hawaiian which had ham and pineapple on it and there was a good bit of toppings and it looked good and smelled good but the marinara sauce ruined it. We both ate a slice and tossed the rest at our next stop. If you stop here definitely get the garlic cheesy bread but skip the pizza and the rude customer service. Oh and best of luck if you need to use the restroom. Forks WA was a total disappointment and we won't be stopping by on our next trip through the area. read more

Pit stopped in Forks while road tripping and came here for lunch. we got half all meat and half pep, olives and mushrooms (family size). The ingredients were fresh and the pizza had a crispy crust. We all thought it was good pizza and ate the whole thing Service was not special, she was not very friendly or helpful. The place is small but does have a few places to sit. Walked in after a day of hiking almost at closing time. Had a special order because of my son's dietary restrictions. The folks in Home Slice Rake N Bake were very friendly, saying sure they could do that. They noted a time that our pizzas would be ready and they were ready to the minute. Called ahead before arriving to our Airbnb in Forks. It was going to be a 40min wait but it was perfect for our arrival. We ordered a pizza with jalapeño and artichoke which was really good! Pizza and staff we're amazing!We were visiting from out of town and the owners are so warm and welcoming ! Definitely appreciated the service,great pizza and lovely setting inside, honestly wished we could have stayed to play games but due to covid-19 we couldn't.If we ever visit the town again definitely will go back. People love take and bake pizza so we tried it too! I never ever will again. We followed all the instructions as directed because I am a serious germ a Phoebe and did not want any of us to get sick. Unfortunately we all got sick. Not sure if it was the cheese or the meat. I'm always cautions when eating foods that has been sitting out for who knows how long. But I have it a try and it's just not for us but that doesn't mean it's not for everyone else. So eat what you like, cause it's all good! read more

Great option for dinner among the limited options in Forks. While they offer take home pies to cook at home, they also do a robust take-out business (which was great since our motel didn't have a stove!). Approximately 30 minutes from order to pick-up and the pizzas were perfectly cooked and delicious. Very friendly folks too. Next time we're in town, will definitely order from here again. read more

Forks is also a good town to stop for food if you are visiting the Hoh Rainforest and/ or Rialto Beach. I wandered into Home Slice Take N Bake. Since I am from New York and live in Brooklyn, I am a pizza snob. I try my best to avoid West Coast pizza. I only went to Take N Bake because I thought they served sandwiches. Once I was there, I just went for the pizza. I was hungry and wanted something quick as we had a long day of sightseeing. We basically ordered a supreme pizza as it had taco beef and various vegetables. Is it the best pizza I ever had? Of course not. It was very similar to the pizza I have eaten at Costco. In both cases, I had my reservations before I ate it but actually really liked it. Accordingly, Take N Bake is a solid spot for a quick bite. Ok, with as often as I buy pizzas from them, eat there in person, and once a month come together for game day...the fact that I haven't done a review is criminal. This is a great place to get a pizza. Take out baked, or to bake, these are great pies. Have ordered a salad for my daughter a few times and she is always happy with the fixings that they come up with for that. Prices are reasonable, check for the daily special if you want to save a bit more. For me, they are the "in a pinch" or "quick lunch" place to go. read more

We stayed here for 2 nights to visit the park and got Home Slice both nights since it had the best reviews and since we heard awesome things about the staff! The first night we did take and bake and the second night we did delivery. Both were delicious but I'd highly recommend getting it made there since nothing beats a pizza oven! Found the place on Yelp while we were driving on our way to Forks. The smell of pizza welcomes you as you open the door. We could tell the lady behind the counter was smiling behind her mask. She was very patient with us as we had no idea what we wanted. We customized our pizza (half pineapple and jalapeños... half pepperoni, green peppers and onion). Our Caesar Salad came out quickly. The pizza maybe took 8 minutes tops. It was delicious!!! We noticed they had ice cream there too but we were too full by the time we were done.
