Isabel has been cleaning our 2 bedroom 1 bath home for the past 6 months. We plan to continue to use Isabel indefinitely! Our house was quite dirty and unkept when we decided to hire a professional and we are SO thankful for Isabel. She does a fantastic job and she communicates via text to schedule our next cleaning (we're so busy and forget to hit her up)!! We thought we always had a bad quality sink that couldn't shine until we met Isabel... we've never seen our sink shine the way it does now. We admit we're messy people, she always comes in with a smile on her face, PETS OUR DOG (our dog is ecstatic every time she comes) and is so thorough and thoughtful when cleaning. Toilet paper roses, bedroom blankets placed aesthetically. Sometimes I haven't had a chance to organize our home before she comes and she'll place things away and wash any dirty dishes in the sink. Isabel is the best!! My parents house cleaners were not as thorough as Isabel. If you are on the fence about getting a cleaner, please consider Isabel. She's professional, brings her own equipment (we only have a dyson vacuum that isn't fit to do all the vacuuming around the entire home) and quiet. Isabel at Home Shine is simply the best! She has been my housekeeper for 5 years/3 apartments now and I have always been so impressed by how hard she works. She is careful, thorough, and completely trustworthy. And, my place never reeks of chemicals when she's done, it just smells and looks sparkly clean. She knows exactly how I like things done and leaves my place looking immaculate. She's also very careful not to let my 2 kitties escape while she's there which is not easy to do as they're little door dashers! One has to wonder whether the glowing reviews here are for real or paid advertisements. The positive reviews are not recent except from two to four years ago; almost as many reviews have been filtered, not recommended by Yelp's automation. Isabel came out to give an estimate for an apartment cleaning after my tenants moved. When she arrived I had contractors finishing a remodel so the apartment looked 70% new but with a lot of post-construction dust. One thing that raised a red flag with Isabel, she started to remark this or that area doesn't need a lot of effort and seemingly was optimizing for her costs. After she left, one of my contractors asked me "You're gonna hire her? She doesn't seem to enjoy or take pride in her work." Yet she gave a competitive bid and I found myself trying to schedule an apartment cleaning. I was surprised to find no responses to my texts. After two weeks I called and was greeted by a Mr. Valdez who hung up on me as I was talking. I thought maybe this was an accident. I called a second time and he hung up on me again in mid-sentence. I texted why he was acting so rude. He texted back "because driving." I texted back then why not leave the call to voicemail or text back that you'd get back to me later...anything but hanging up on a customer in mid-call. No words from him after this--one of my weirdest interactions from a business through Yelp. My impression is this business doesn't care about customer relations, likely is overloaded with too many jobs to rush to and can treat you as a client impersonally. Don't bother wasting your time.
